Healthy Chicken Burger 🍔

Ingredients 👇

2 kg chicken kheema (minced chicken)
1 large green capsicum
1 large yellow capsicum
1 large red capsicum
1 large onion
5 green chilies (adjust to taste)
1 cup boiled sweet potato (mashed)
2 tsp cumin (zeera) powder
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Oil, for cooking
For assembling
Brown burger buns
Tomato sauce (1 tsp per bun)
Low-fat red chilli mayonnaise (1 tsp per bun)
Cheese slice (optional)

✨Method

Finely chop all vegetables and grind them in a chopper.
Press the mixture well to remove excess water—this step is important to avoid soggy patties.

In a large bowl, add chicken kheema, chopped vegetables, and mashed sweet potato.

Add cumin powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, ginger powder, garlic powder, and salt.

Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined.
Lightly grease your palms with oil and shape the mixture into burger patties.

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan on medium-high flame.
Cook the patties until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked from inside.

Slice the brown buns and lightly toast them on a pan.
Spread tomato sauce and low-fat red chilli mayonnaise on each bun.

Place the chicken patty on the bun.Add a cheese slice if desired, cover with the top bun, and toast lightly.

Serve hot.
