Exosomes are:
• Tiny extracellular vesicles (30–150 nanometers).
• Released naturally by almost all cells (especially stem cells).
• They contain important “messages” — like proteins, RNA, and growth factors — that help cells talk to each other.
• Their main job is cell communication and repair.
In therapies (like for hair, skin, joints), lab-purified exosomes (usually from mesenchymal stem cells) are used because they can:
• Reduce inflammation.
• Stimulate regeneration of damaged tissues.
• Enhance healing.
In hair loss treatments, exosomes seem to “wake up” dormant hair follicles and encourage them to start growing hair again.
Key points about exosomes:
• They are not cells — they are cell secretions.
• They don’t replicate like stem cells can.
• They’re packed with healing and regenerative signals.
