Our Journey with Dr. Manoj Sawant

During the month of March, when Covid cases were on the rise, Dr. Manoj Sawant was consulting more than 15 suspected Covid patients a day. The clinic location was identified as a resource limited setting. He was in need of a diagnostic solution that could provide affordable, convenient & timely testing for his patients during these testing times.

Sylis recognized the existing barrier and offered enhanced patient centric approach. Hence, we started our journey with Dr. Manoj Sawant considering the necessary requisite addressed by him. He has a high volume of patients requiring Hematology as well as infectious disease tests. As per the need, we set up 3 of our diagnostic devices and supporting infrastructure in spite of the increasingly high in-clinic space constraints.

Tests like C-reactive Protein were ordered frequently for suspected covid patients. Availability of test result at the point of care assisted the physician to understand the severity of patient condition and thereby initiate covid prophylaxis treatment or order further confirmatory tests.

Moreover, in the first 2 months Sylis offered all its tests at a 20% lower price in order to make testing even more affordable for patients during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are glad that we were able to cater to the needs of Dr. Manoj and were able to make the process convenient, affordable, and efficient.

Our Journey with Dr. Mitali Joshi

Dr. Mitali Joshi is a consultant diabetologist with an experience of 10+ years; looking to provide convenient testing to her patients at affordable rates. She addressed her requirement for a wide variety of tests due to her diverse patient conditions. The test requirement ranges from HbA1c to complete panel tests. The most prominent need was timely & accurate reports while providing improved patient convenience.

With an aim to provide these clinical services, we started our in-clinic setup at Dr. Mitali’s clinic where we provided her with 4 of our devices in order to meet her diverse patient needs.

Prescribed diagnostic tests being done in the same clinic and during the same visit, offers great convenience to patients. 70+ most commonly prescribed tests are made available to meet the diagnostic requirement of the Physicians. Results of these tests are made available within 60 minutes.

Diagnostic tests are conducted by a trained and competent lab technician inside the clinic using a combination of Point of Care diagnostic devices, Semi-Automatic analyzers, and Fully Automatic analyzers. The devices and analyzers used are qualified and certified and offer test results with high sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy, making them more reliable.
