Building a Leprosy-Free India, Together 🤝

On 10th & 11th January 2026, Lok Seva Sangam participated in a National Symposium at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, focused on strengthening the role of dermatologists in India’s fight against leprosy.

National and international experts, public health leaders, and leprosy specialists came together to discuss how early diagnosis, clinical expertise, and strong referral systems can help prevent disability and ensure timely treatment.

Representing Lok Seva Sangam, Dr. Dilip Jani (Medical Superintendent) and Mr. Swapnil Jadhav (Leprosy Project Manager) shared insights from our community-based leprosy work and the importance of connecting dermatologists with grassroots healthcare efforts.

Together, we are working towards early detection, dignified care, and a future where no one is left behind.
