I graduated from Smt. CMP homeopathic medical college in the year 2012, and then before joining M2C gained some experience as an -Assistant to Pediatrician Dr. R. D. Khare, Bandra for approx. 9-10 months- Assistant to Gynecologist Dr. Gayatri Deshpande, Juhu, for approx. 1 year Observorships at nursing home in Jogeshwari approx. 3 to 6 months P.G Diploma from LIHS in Emergency Medical Services (1 year course) - 2013
Being a fresher, there was a lot of nervousness, lack of confidence, fear of making mistakes, and being reprimanded in a really busy working clinic environment. This was due to a lack of the right knowledge and experience, a lack of proper medical training especially in physical examination, a lack of awareness of the new concepts at the clinic, patient interaction, diseases, follow-ups, understanding prognosis, and communicating correctly to patients, both medically and homeopathically. However, silent learning through observation of Seniors and Sir, Thursday lectures, and hands-on experience with patients gradually cleared doubts and inculcated essential skills, most importantly of the first crucial step in Homeopathic treatment, which is Case Taking and understanding follow-up taking. Additionally, as a fresher, the first job allotted to me, which I gradually realized with time is also one of the challenging yet significant steps for clinical homeopathic practice, i.e. giving new appointments, convincing and suggest dates and timing to patients, which during my initial days of joining, were available after 2-3 months! But, with the support and help from Seniors and staff, gradually got experienced in all the above challenging tasks.
