🌈Well this could be the sign of unhealthy gut.

🌈 lets understand why your gut is unhappy with these 4 signs:

📌Bloating & Gas - when gut is filled with bad bacteria in excess, our foods are not digested properly, leading to an increase in gas & acidity issues

📌Mood Swings: There is a strong connection between low mood/depression and our digestive health as gut is said to be our second brain. This explains why we crave comfort food when we feel low or get GI upsets due to anxiety or stress

FAT Facts:
📌Not all fats are created equal. some fats are better for you than others and may even help to promote good health. Knowing the difference can help you determine which fats to avoid and which to eat in moderation.

📌Before going on low fats diet you should be aware that, When it comes to brain health, fats plays structural and functional roles in neurons and impact the molecular pathways within hypothalamus (responsible for maintaining healthful & balanced bodily state)

📌When it comes to heart health, including healthy fats helps to lower bad cholestrol (LDL) & reduces heart diseases risk

📌 Types of Dietary fat:

Trans fats: These are worst fats that comes from food that contain hydrogenated vegetable oils (e.g fried foods, baked goods, margarine, processed snack foods etc)

Saturated fats: should be eaten very sparingly as they can increase blood cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. (e.g High fat meats, chicken, dairy products like butter, cheese, cream)

Unsaturated fats: These are heart friendly fats (e.g walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, avocado, olive oil, canola oil ) which not only decreases risk of coronary arteries but also help to lower blood pressure levels and guard against irregular heart rates.

📌However, healthier fats are important part of your diet, its still crucial to moderate your consumption because all fats are high in calories.

📌 WATER & FAT LOSS

💧Well, its true Drinking water helps you to burn more calories, reduce appetite and reduce calorie intake.

Let's see what the research says:

💧A study conducted in 2003 showed that drinking 500 ml water increased metabolic rate by 30%. The increase occured within 10 min and reached a maximum after 30-40 min.

💧Several other studies have monitored overweight people who drank 1-1.5liters of water daily for few weeks found significant reduction in weight, body mass index (BMI) , waist circumference and body fat

💧Observational Studies have showed that people who drink mostly water have upto 9% (200 calories) lower calorie intake, on an average. This is mainly because you then drink water instead of other sugary beverages which are often high in calories.

💧Note: However one should keep in mind that water is just one, very small piece of the puzzle and you are going to have to do work harder on your lifestyle modification to lose weight in healthy manner.

Winter Delicacy : Gond ke ladoo😋

🌈This popular sweet treat is commonly prepared during winters in the Nothern part of India.

🌈 Before jumping into the recipe, lets understand what gond is.

-Gond is an edible gum alternatively known as Tragacanth or acacia gum

- It is a viscous, odourless, tasteless, water soluble mixture of polysaccharides obtained from sap that is drained from the root of the plant and dried.

- These plant gums are usually found in Middle East, and parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Punjab.

-it is rich in calcium, magnesium and almost contains around 3% of protein along with alkaloids.

🌈Ingredients: Powdered Gond, Urad daal, wheat flour, desiccated coconut, almonds, walnuts, Ganthoda powder and jaggery

🌈Recipe:

-First Heat the ghee and saute wheat flour and urad daal.
- Again heat the ghee in another pan and add jaggery and melt it properly at slow flame.
- Finally add the sauted wheat flour, urad daal, powdered gond, crushed nuts, desiccated coconut and ganthoda powder and mix it well
- make small ladoos of this mixture , cool it down and store it in airtight container.
