A Mumbai-based clinic that uses evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis - a research proven intervention methodology for children and families with autism. Launching in 2021.
We firmly believe that every child has the ability to learn. It is the teacher who needs to understand the child’s learning style and modify their teaching strategy to be an effective and efficient instructor. In the famous words by Ignacio Estrada, “if a child does not learn the way we teach, we need to teach the way he learns”. This basic understanding is backed by evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis- a research proven intervention methodology for children with autism.
Building a positive rapport with the child and creating a positive and motivating learning environment.
Quickly gaining instructional control through the process of high-density reinforcement and low effort tasks.
Interspersing difficult tasks with easy ones, to increase accurate responding in the sessions.
Challenging behaviors are immediately put on extinction, thereby reducing their frequency in the future.
A mixed verbal behavior approach ensures an overall grasp of the concept being taught, thereby avoiding rote learning.
Mastered skills are immediately transferred into the natural environment to promote generalization of skills.
