Chalazia are enlargements of an oil gland (similar to a pimple) deep in the eyelid caused by an obstruction of the gland's opening. Styes are usually infected eyelash follicles. (inflammation of the edges of the eyelids). Some people may have one or two styes in a lifetime, but other people develop them repeatedly.

📢 Invitation to Participate in the "Vision for All Rally" - 9th October 2024 📢

Hello Everyone,

In celebration of World Sight Day 2024, the Rotaract Club of Lotus College of Optometry is excited to invite you to the "Vision for All Rally," aimed at spreading Eye Care Awareness among both adults and children. Your participation will be instrumental in promoting the importance of eye health within our community! 👁💙

🗓 Date: 9th October 2024
📍 Assembly Time: 7:30 AM at Lotus College of Optometry
🕗 Rally Start Time: 8:00 AM

🔗 Rally Route:
• We will kick off the rally at Lotus College of Optometry and proceed to Chandan Cinema.
• From Chandan Cinema, we will move toward Prithvi Cafe, and then continue to Jalsa Bungalow.
• The rally will conclude back at Lotus College of Optometry.

🏥 Post-Rally Session:
Upon returning to the college, we will hold a session on Eye Care Awareness, led by expert ophthalmologists and optometrists. This session will focus on the importance of eye care for both adults and children, emphasizing preventive measures and the role of regular eye check-ups.

We warmly invite you to join us in this impactful rally and help raise awareness about eye health in the community. Your presence will make a real difference!
