Happy World Health Day 🌏
Let's take steps to build better mental and emotional health. In this busy world, it gets difficult to maintain a healthy routine to achieve physical and mental well-being. But I believe small efforts can make a big difference.

Happy Holi and Dhuleti
Holi is celebrated with keeping in mind purification, righteousness, letting go of negativity, ego, devotion, etc.
Dhuleti which is celebrated by colours symbolizes letting go of past negativity, grudges, and ego. Just as colors blend together, the festival teaches acceptance, forgiveness, and embracing new beginnings. Dhuleti is celebrated at the onset of spring, signifying new life, fertility, and rejuvenation. The vibrant colors reflect the blossoming of nature, inspiring a sense of positivity, energy, and gratitude.
Even when we feel it's all a festival, the concepts of acceptance, letting go, forgiveness, gratitude, belief are still true when it comes to living our life and overcoming the challenges.

Women’s Day isn’t just about celebrating achievements—it’s about taking action. True empowerment comes when we advocate for ourselves in our careers, relationships, and daily lives.
But too often, women put their own well-being last. Whether it’s avoiding tough conversations, hesitating to seek support, or constantly saying “yes” to others, we end up exhausted and overlooked. It’s time to change that.
Here’s how we can take action:
✅ Set Boundaries Without Guilt
Your time, energy, and mental space are valuable. Say “no” when needed, push back on unrealistic expectations, and communicate your needs confidently. Boundaries are not selfish; they are self-respect.
✅ Seek Help Without Shame
Asking for support—whether from a therapist, mentor, or trusted friend—is a sign of strength, not weakness. You don’t have to handle everything alone.
✅ Prioritize Yourself Without Apology
Your goals, passions, and rest matter. Invest in personal growth, explore creative outlets, and make self-care non-negotiable. Thriving starts when you put yourself on the priority list.
This Women’s Day, let’s move beyond awareness and take action.
How are you advocating for your well-being this year? Drop your thoughts in the comments! ⬇️

Makar Sankranti is the festival of kites and colours.
If I look at it from an Expressive Art Therapy Practitioner then this festival has too many happy metaphors and messages for all of us:
🪁 Colours add happiness and variety in our life, just like that add new experiences and hobbies in your life
🪁 You have to use the right string to fly high, just like that keep the people who support you & love you close to you
🪁 We many times pull the string towards us so that the kite gets direction, just like that we may need to step back or seek professional help to help us navigate through challenges
🪁 We feel happy and togetherness even if the kite gets cut & falls down, just like that see failures as opportunity to grow & bond together with your loved ones
🪁 It's more about enjoying and that's how we should live our life
🪁 We feel so free and liberated while we fly kite as we see it flying high, just like that if we focus on flying or going high, it can help us make reaching our goal easier
🪁 We have good food, hear songs, dance to it's tune, have fun...this creates an immersive experience that helps us use all our senses to be completely present and help us be happy

Wedding season is running and we all use social media or have friends or family members whose wedding we attend or consume it from social media.
Now there's nothing wrong in consuming such content from social media or an actual wedding, but it depends on how much that affects you.
If you are single then you can feel overwhelmed and make you feel that you won't find 'the one' and insecure. This is the time to believe in yourself and love yourself even more. Spend time with yourself and people who love yourself. It's not the time to rush to find someone just because it's the season of marrying.
Look out for your non negotiables, your beliefs, values and needs in a relationship and marriage and see if you're getting the same when you meet your prospects. Love yourself and don't over-compromise, the right person will meet you at the right time.

Many times it happens that we forget to be ourselves or acknowledge our emotions, feelings, needs and wants. We would want to impress people, want to look good in their books and what not!!
Don't forget that all these things could impact you, your emotional & mental health and also the way you establish relationships with people.
Remember to take care of yourself, your feelings, your boundaries, your emotions, your physical health...the rest will follow.

Happiness is always an inside job. You can search it outside with people, situations and things but it will always radiate from within you and not the other way around.
If you compare yourself, if you are constantly thinking about bad things, if you always depend on the situation or people or things to make you happy, you won't be happy because it is not a necessity that people will make you feel happy or anything will make you feel happy.
Here are a few things you can do to feel happier apart from the ones mentioned in the video:
🩵 Spend time with yourself in a day
🩵 Take time to process your feelings
🩵 Do things you like doing
🩵 Have one hobby that doesn't include people
🩵 Take yourself out alone
🩵 Find out what makes you happy without anyone or anything making you happy
🩵 Journal
