We would like to clarify here that the said person has never been employed by Prince Aly Khan Hospital. The allegation that he was employed by us is factually incorrect.

An allegedly fraudulent campaign on the GoFundMe, a fundraising platform, is being run by a certain Meghani Family Trust in the name of Prince Aly Khan Hospital. A message is being shared across WhatsApp regarding this campaign.

We would like to clarify that no such fundraising campaign has been initiated by us at Prince Aly Khan Hospital or the Aga Khan Health Services India.

The Prince Aly Khan Hospital (PAKH) has been at the forefront of the response since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. PAKH has allocated nearly half of its total bed capacity and close to 80 percent of its critical care beds to treating COVID-19 patients. In early 2020, a 50-bed unit was also established at the nearby Diamond Jubilee High School, which served as a quarantine centre for asymptomatic patients and staff. To date, over 1,800 COVID-19 patients have been treated at the Hospital, nearly 60 percent of whom were in critical stages. The Hospital has been widely acclaimed for the standard of care and the relatively low mortality rate.

As a part of our social responsibility and service to the community, we had conducted a "Free Health Checkup camp with RT PCR testing" at Behram Baug, Jogeshwari, Mumbai. A total of 125 members of the Ismaili Jamat underwent tests.

Camp offerings included RT-PCR test, BP Monitoring, Temperature check, Diet & Doctor Consultation.

Glimpses of the free RT-PCR camp conducted by us for the staff at L.T. Marg Police Station. The early morning camp ensured that staff from morning as well as night was a part of it. 86 members of the staff including the senior policemen submitted their swab samples.
