The teenage years are difficult not only for the adolescents but also for their parents. It's the phase wherein teens struggle with peer pressure, academic expectations, friendships/relationships and emotional and physical changes. Teens with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder face an extra set of challenges as puberty triggers their symptoms, higher academics demands exhaust their executive functions, and their desire for independence sometimes triggers their impulsivity which could be dangerous to self and others.

Knowing the signs can help taking timely and correct measures to provide the help and support required by the teen.
