Today is National Gestational Diabetes Awareness Day.

Many women feel completely healthy during pregnancy and still develop gestational diabetes without realizing it. That is why timely screening during pregnancy is so important. A simple glucose test between 24 to 28 weeks can help detect it early and allow the right steps to protect both mother and baby.

With proper nutrition, regular monitoring, and the right guidance, gestational diabetes can be managed effectively and most women go on to have healthy pregnancies.

If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, don’t skip your screening. Awareness and early action can make all the difference.

Honoured to be a part of a Medical Camp focused on spreading awareness about nutrition and preventive health. Conducted Nutritional Status Assessments, provided nutrition education, and shared healthy eating guidelines based on individual assessments to help people make better lifestyle choices.

Grateful for the opportunity to interact with MLA of Borivali Mr. Sanjay Upadhya and Nagarsevika Dr. Shilpa Sangore, Pediatrician at Phoenix Hospital, and discuss the importance of community health and nutrition awareness.

The camp was organized in association with the Rotary Club of Mumbai MaKaBo Chapter and Marwari Sanskritik Kala Manch, Borivali, working together towards a healthier community.

Special thanks to Alka Pednekar Manjrekar for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this meaningful initiative.

I, Chetna Soni, am a Diet and Lifestyle Consultant, a Certified Diabetes Educator, and a Keto Dietitian. Health, Wellness and Nutrition has always been my maxim. Let me get you through my journey through proficiency in Health and Well-being. In the year 2000, I completed my Masters in Food Science and Nutrition from SNDT Women's University and joined KEM Hospital as a Dietitian.

In 2002, I became a part of Product Development in the R&D dept at the esteemed Cadbury India Limited. During my three years with Cadbury, I attained exemplary project management and product designing skills. Later on, in 2009, I received an opportunity to work as a Nutrition Faculty at SNDT Women’s University. In the four years with SNDT, my prowess as a Nutritionist was capitalised and the next thing I knew, I became a Nutrition Faculty at VLCC Institute of Nutrition in 2013. I was a part of this reputed marque for five competent years.

Holding a myriad of experience with highly-acclaimed brands, my dexterity level rose with every professional ordeal. And finally in 2012, I started off as a Dietetics Practitioner where my caliber outshined and till date, I have been excelling and transcending my capabilities. I proudly manoeuvre as a Corporate Nutrition speaker since the year 2012. Though Diet Planning is my finesse, I also indulge in Corporate Canteen Meal Planning, Corporate Nutrition activities, and Nutrition discourses at schools. To name a few of my corporate clienteles are SBI Bank, ICICI Bank, St. Johns Universal School, St. Anne's School, Aditya Birla Grasim, Zeki Kids and many more .

Overall, in this world of Eudaimonia, I am aiming to stride ahead with mastery and virtuosity.
