In March 2022, I joined amaha as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist. I have informed people personally about it and am now putting it here.

After having a good experience with practice at Vile Parle East, I was ready to work on a larger canvas and this opportunity came along. At amaha I am able to work at National Level through online consultations and through collaboration with colleagues based in Bangalore and Delhi. You all know my hesitation in using commercial platforms to do online work . So I am comfortable here as amaha has its own online platform through which I can be sure about security and quality of my online work. Through this I can now help lots of patients who are situated geographically near but unable to leave their house due to medical or social issues. Also I can monitor my patients who are stable and they need not travel through the horrible Mumbai traffic to see me.

I have decided to keep the two practices separate though. So patients have to choose one site and stick with it.

Fees revision
I will no longer be following the new patient follow up system and instead start charging by time of consultation basis.
From 1st December 2024 my Fees will be Rs1500 for a 15min consultation.
Rs 2000 to 2500 for 30mins
And Rs 3000 to 4500 for more than 45mins. Consultation exceeding 60mins and less than 15mins will not be available.
New patients will need to pay a non refundable booking charge of Rs1000 to fix appointment. Booking charge will be taken for follow up patients only if they frequently miss or cancel scheduled appointment.
These measures are due to routine price rise, increased Seniority status and to ensure better time management for all.

TIMING CHANGE

I am required to take care of some pending issues in my personal life and so have decided to cut down on my work.

For a few weeks, I will not be seeing patients in the first half of the day.

Appointments for evening OPD and Saturdays will be scheduled as usual.

VACATION NOTIFICATION

Its school holidays time and I encourage all of you to take a vacation with family.

I too will be taking much time off. Therefore, please plan your follow up appointments and book in advance so that you dont run out of medicine.

Right now- I confirm that I will be on leave from 30th March to 15th April. Please book your appointments before30th or after 15th.
