1. ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴀʀᴇ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴛʜᴀɴ 400 ᴘʜᴏʙɪᴀꜱ:

You can have a phobia of anything, but there are more than 400 phobias known outside! Phobias such as a fear of heights (acrophobia), fear of flying (aviophobia), fear of snakes (ophidiophobia), fear of dogs (cynophobia), fear of needles (trypanophobia) and the fear of germs (mysophobia) are all pretty common.

2. ꜱᴏᴍᴇ ᴘʜᴏʙɪᴀꜱ ᴍᴀʏ ꜱᴏᴜɴᴅ ꜱᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇ:

There are also rarer and seemingly bizarre phobias, such as the fear of beautiful women (caligynephobia), the fear of cheese (turophobia).
"hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia" is a phobia of long words – probably this 15-syllable word was coined by someone not very nice!

3. ᴀ ꜰᴇᴀʀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴀ ᴘʜᴏʙɪᴀ ᴀʀᴇ ɴᴏᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴀᴍᴇ ᴛʜɪɴɢ:

You would probably feel a bit frightened and panicked if you saw a big hairy spider climb your wall. But that doesn't necessarily mean you're phobic about spiders.
Although it is not very pleasant, fear and some level of anxiety are "normal" emotional responses to a real or perceived threat.
A specific phobia, however, is an overwhelming fear of objects and situations.
For example, if a person has a phobia of spiders, they could do everything they can to avoid spiders and they can even begin to consume their lives.
They may spend a great deal of time thinking and worrying about spiders and avoiding the places and activities where spiders might be.

There are ways in which specific phobias can be dealt with. In order to find the right treatment for you or someone you know, remember that phobias are often well treated. If you (or someone you know) could have a phobia, it’s a good idea to seek advice from a medical professional.

If either or both of your parents are feeling anxious, chances are you will too. It's important to keep in mind that genes aren't destiny. Anxiety can be taken care of. Just because it’s in your family denims doesn’t mean it will be passed to you, and if it is passed down, you won’t necessarily do anxiety in the same way as the people who came before you.

𝟚. 𝔸𝕟𝕩𝕚𝕖𝕥𝕪 𝕠𝕗𝕥𝕖𝕟 𝕓𝕖𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕤 𝕚𝕟 ℂℍ𝕀𝕃𝔻ℍ𝕆𝕆𝔻-
Children 3-17 years of age have been diagnosed with anxiety. Since the kids are still developing verbal skills, they probably won't say things like, "I have anxiety." Instead, they could complain about stomach pains or headaches and have anger attacks.

𝟛. 𝔸𝕟𝕩𝕚𝕖𝕥𝕪 𝕔𝕒𝕦𝕤𝕖𝕤 ℙℍ𝕐𝕊𝕀ℂ𝔸𝕃 𝕊𝕐𝕄ℙ𝕋𝕆𝕄𝕊-
Every physical symptom is a direct result of the body’s fight or flight response.
Few people realize that anxiety leads to serious physical problems such as weakness, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat, nausea, hot flashes and dizziness.

Just don’t let it take over, or ruin your quality of life.

As I mentioned in my post earlier how depression had an impact on my health and how feelings can be seen on my drawings.

When I decided to go back to my friends and family and look after myself. Everyone around me was surprised to see me. I weigh over 90 in 2020 right when I landed in Mumbai. This was a challenging Healing Journey. Most of them used to mock my weight and gave many negative comments which really discouraged me. All this thanks to my loved ones; not only have I healed myself, but also 4xl/ 3xl came down to L and still ongoing.
While I was healing, I could still see the difference in my drawing.

I am lucky and kind to be able to rely on the support of my loved ones.

Yes, I have been through depression back in 2019 and have now overcome through it. It wasn't a smooth sailing.

Staying away from my family & friends and doing household chores all alone. Eventually, I lost interest in every single thing I used to love. My sleeping pattern was messed up; either Insomnia or hypersomnia (excessive sleep), constant negative thoughts, lethargy, lost my appetite, sobbing for no reasons, couldn't express my emotion how am I feeling and what am I feeling.

Until I decided to draw and erase all those negative thoughts which was overpowering me. My drawings always had an imprint of my thoughts running in my mind.

One day I decided to heal myself. Let go of those negative thoughts which was trying to ruin my life. Wanted to live those moments which I used to love and enjoy. Though the healing process wasn't simple. All it needed was patience and believe in self.

Once you're determined, then nobody damn nobody will be able to stop you.

By healing our inner child, we begin to create the safety and security our younger selves have always needed.
When we avoid addressing our past hurts and feel alone with them, they transform into behaviors destructive to ourselves and our environment, such as workaholism, alcoholism

Here are 5 ways to Heal your Inner Child:

1. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸-

Use all five senses to check in with our body. Take three deep breaths. Place one hand on your belly and chest.
Once you’re comfortable, note one thing you see.
One thing you smell.
One thing you hear.
One thing you taste.
One thing you feel.

2. 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆-

Letting ourselves into drawing, cooking, gardening, sitting, or reading—doing what we enjoy is centering and takes us back to our inner child.

3. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴-

How you felt like to collect things as a child? May be sticks, rocks, shells or even colors can be a way of reconnecting with our inner child. It's not for any practical reason, however we do this for the pure experience. Not sure what to collect? Many of us still as adults collect pens. But may not use use it often.

4. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀-

Visualizations help us tap into our imagination and senses. It’s a great way to connect to your inner child.

5. 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴-

It create a safe space for you (your inner child) to express yourself honestly without any judgment or expectations of the outside world.

Hope this will help you to heal your inner child.

We all have an inner child.

What do you mean by Inner Child?
The inner child is the part in your psyche (human mind, soul or spirit) that still retains its innocence, creativity, and wonder toward life.
In simple words it means your inner child is the child that lives within you – within your psyche that is.

Remember not everyone associates childhood with playfulness and fun. Some may have experienced neglect, trauma, or other emotional pain; then your inner child might seem small, vulnerable, and in need of protection. You may have buried this pain deep to hide it and protect yourself.

Healing your inner child can take time. Self love and acceptance are finally possible.

When was the last time you spoke or connected with yours?
