🌟Is calorie deficit better or high metabolism?🌟
You might have read or heard this alot before. Portion size and calorie deficit is the key to weight loss.
Well I don't disagree and neither I am against it. I am one of the dietitians who is an advocate of the same.
However, calorie deficit is only a piece of the whole fat loss puzzle. It is just the first step. You can technically keep on having a burger all the time, remain in calorie deficit in order to lose weight. But this weight loss won't give any benefits to you. 300 calories from protein, for example, feels different and does different things for the body than 300 calories from carbohydrates.
Therefore more than calories, high metabolism is a must for real fat loss. A weight loss with only calorie deficit will ultimately plateau or you might even gain weight.
It is important to have high metabolism that helps in long term fat loss. Inorder to increase your metabolism and therefore lose fat, it is important to include all the 3 key ingredients for fat loss on which I spoke before.
