Result of frozen shoulder case within one session!!

Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a painful condition which involves stiffness of the shoulder joint and gradual loss of normal shoulder range of motion.

Signs and symptoms -
➡️Dull and aching pain around the shoulder.
➡️Pain may be worse at night and may interfere with sleep.
➡️Gradual increase in joint stiffness
➡️Gradual loss of motion and sometimes inability to perform daily activities like combing hair, hooking the bra strap, changing clothes,putting hand in the back pocket etc.

Causes -
➡️Age - more common above 40 years of age.
➡️Injury or fracture of shoulder which may require prolonged immobilisation.
➡️Diabetes - if poorly managed.
➡️Idiopathic - can happen without any known cause.

Solution -
Exercise is the best solution to stretch the muscles and joint capsule and open up the range of motion.
Remember, pain killers only help to reduce the pain temporarily. The pain won’t reduce unless the shoulder stiffness reduces.

Please note - These are the results of one session in this patient .We do not expect such single session results in every patient as every case is different .The recovery depends on multiple factors .
