At the medical forum, discussed the proposed national budget with a focus on strengthening and empowering healthcare ,MedscapeIndia has consistently put forward evidence-based recommendations over the years, many of which have been considered and implemented by the Government. We remain positive that this year’s budget will also bring significant reforms in healthcare aligned with these suggestions.

As India accelerates its growth across infrastructure, technology, and global influence, noted radiologist and public health advocate Dr. Sunita Dube is urging the nation to focus equal attention on a foundation she believes is even more powerful — the health of its people. In her Vision 2026–27...

Menstrual Hygiene: A Foundation for Health, Education & Dignity
Menstrual hygiene is not just a health issue — it is a medical, social, and educational imperative.
Access to safe menstrual hygiene products and accurate education:
Reduces infections and reproductive health complications
Improves school attendance and confidence among adolescent girls
Breaks stigma and silence around menstruation
Creates equal opportunities for learning and participation
At the Girls Camp, these principles come alive. Through focused hygiene education, medical awareness sessions, and open conversations, girls are empowered to understand their bodies, care for their health, and support one another. This blend of knowledge + access + community is where real change begins.
Recent national conversations and judicial attention around menstrual hygiene further reinforce an essential truth:
Health equity starts with dignity and education.
We commend the collective efforts of:
Healthcare educators and platforms like Medscape India
Public health authorities
Judicial institutions and policymakers
Grassroots initiatives such as Sathey Girls Camp
Together, these efforts move us closer to a future where menstrual hygiene is normalized, accessible, and prioritized not just discussed.
Let’s continue to invest in awareness, education, and action.
Because when girls are healthy and informed, communities thrive.

Heartfelt Condolences 🙏🙏
On behalf of MedscapeIndia with the medical fraternity of Maharashtra, we express our deepest condolences on the untimely demise of Shri Ajit Pawar Ji.
During the launch of the Fit Maharashtra Programme, his proactive involvement and keen interest in health and fitness initiatives were clearly evident. He engaged in in-depth discussions with MedscapeIndia , extending his wholehearted support and encouragement for initiatives aimed at improving community health. His positivity and enthusiasm during the programme will always remain etched in our memories.
He was known for his fast, result-oriented approach, quick decision-making, and, above all, his unwavering concern for the welfare of the larger community. His dedication, leadership, and compassion truly set him apart.
It is deeply painful to see such a committed and people-centric leader leave us so soon. We are grateful for his support and contributions toward public health initiatives.
We pray for the eternal peace of his noble soul and extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Om Shanti 🙏

Our Story

A***n Hospital has been serving the public with its multi-specialty facilities under one roof since 2003 and has been successful in serving the society with the best medical help. Spreading its wings to empower women ,education and kids it started an NGO, A***n Medical & Educational Trust in 2007, which has been working to make communities across India self-dependent. But with changing times, realise the dependence and the impact of internet, Dr Sunita Dube, Founder of MedscapeIndia conceived an idea to provide a platform for spreading medical awareness. For that she started a website www.medscapeindia.com so that she can get connect to the huge audience. It is the first organisation in the country that is always trying to uniting the medical fraternity and bringing them under one roof to meet the needs of the community. It will be a platform which brings leading group of advisors, consultants and opinion leaders together to create a web community for health professionals to provide the best health education content and tools from credible sources. The brainchild behind this endeavour Dr Sunita, Chairman, MedscapeIndia says, “My long treasured dream of bringing the medical fraternity under a single platform & honouring the unrecognised real hero. MedscapeIndia help medical community to work more better in their field and gives them a real satisfaction and courage to stand stronger on Indian platform.”
