When work is done with sincerity and care, it becomes service creating impact, meaning, and quiet fulfilment beyond results.

When work is guided by compassion and purpose, it naturally becomes service, uplifting others while staying true to inner values.

1. Yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam - This famous definition from the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 2, Verse 50) means:
“Yoga is excellence or skill in action.”
Here, Lord Krishna explains that yoga is not about renouncing action, but about performing one’s duties with awareness, balance, and detachment from results. When actions are done selflessly, without ego or attachment to success and failure, they become yogic.

2. Gomukha means “cow’s face,” as the shape of the legs in the pose resembles it. This seated asana deeply stretches the hips, thighs, shoulders, chest, and arms.

3. Anahata means “unstruck” or “unhurt,” symbolizing a sound that is eternal and pure. Located at the center of the chest, the Anahata Chakra represents love, compassion, forgiveness, balance, and emotional harmony.

4. Breathing in yoga is conscious and complete, involving all three muscle groups:
Diaphragm – The primary muscle of breathing; responsible for deep abdominal breathing and efficient oxygen intake.

Intercostal muscles – Located between the ribs; they help expand and contract the rib cage during breathing.

Clavicular muscles – Assist in upper chest breathing during deep inhalation.

5. The three gunas are fundamental qualities of nature that influence our mind, behavior, and actions:

Sattva – Purity, harmony, clarity, wisdom, balance

Rajas – Activity, passion, restlessness, desire

Tamas – Inertia, ignorance, darkness, lethargy

Yoga aims to reduce tamas, regulate rajas, and cultivate sattva, leading to inner peace, awareness, and spiritual growth.

This reminds us that the highest calling of life is constructive, not destructive.

To build love means to foster connection, understanding, and compassion—toward ourselves, others, and the world around us.

To heal is to restore what is broken, whether in relationships, communities, or within ourselves.

Conversely, to harm or destroy represents the misuse of our power, whether through anger, neglect, or violence.

While we have the capacity to hurt, true purpose lies in using our abilities to create, nurture, and repair.

Responding consciously means pausing before acting and choosing awareness over impulse.

It creates space for understanding, balance, and wiser decisions.

In that pause, calm replaces chaos and clarity guides your actions.

Do you love chocolates but worry about your teeth getting spoiled?

Chocolates are fine in small amounts, but when the sticky sweetness stays on your teeth, it feeds germs and causes cavities.

Instead of giving up your favorite treat, here’s a smarter way - enjoy just one piece, then chew on crunchy foods like apples, carrots, cucumber, or roasted chana to clean your teeth naturally.

Finally, rinse your mouth with warm water to wash away any leftover stickiness.

With a little care and awareness, you can enjoy your chocolates and still keep your teeth strong, clean and shiny!

A sweet lesson on mindful eating and daily hygiene.

Life boils down to this essential choice: either embrace what is or work to create what could be.

Mastery of life comes from knowing when to accept and when to act.
