Such letter of appreciation are real awards for us as a doctor, this patient was having profound hearing loss in both ears(Almost total loss of hearing) not getting any benefit with hearing aid / unable to hear even with hearing aids , I did sutureless surgery of smallest bone of our body ie. Stapes / Stapedotomy and his hearing improved on table . This Stapedotomy surgery is one of the most rewarding surgery for us as an ENT surgeon as patient gets his hearing back on operation table and we can check his hearing on table as we perform this surgery under local anaesthesia i. e. only ear is anaesthetised.
