About the Expert-Riddhi Punamiya
Having started her career as a Clinical Nutritionist four years ago, Riddhi attained her Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Kings College London (UK) majoring in how to treat Obesity and lose weight along with morbid diseases. Owing to her deep interest in Nutrition and Fitness, she started her personal fitness workout regimen at the age of 17, not knowing much about a Diet at the time. Due to these inborn skills she successfully transformed her passion into a career. Today she has mastered the Science of Nutrition and Fitness and running her own clinic in South Bombay. HealthBerry yields a holistic approach to Nutrition and Health, weight-loss & inch-loss being the substance of the treatment.An essential feature of HealthBerry is that Riddhi treats diseases with diet and exercise. A personalised approach that begins with a thorough analysis of genetic predisposition, medical history, blood tests, Ideal Body Weight, body parameters such as fat percentage, fat mass, muscle mass, body water, biological age and inch measurements is used. The diet is designed to target the root cause of the problems and incorporate much of the client's existing lifestyle and food habits. Weekly monitoring of progress and changes are incorporated into the diet in order to achieve the target which is followed by a Maintenance Program. In addition, travel diets, restaurant menus and appropriate medical reference is also provided. Tailor made nutrition plans are devised not only for weight loss but for weight gain, wellness, senior citizens, children, pregnancy, disease specific (diabetes, heart ailments, cancer etc), sport specific and pre-wedding to name a few.

Losing weight can be challenging for some people.💪 Sometimes you might feel like you’re making healthy lifestyle choices, but you’re still not getting the desired results. The following points should be kept in mind:
1. Focusing only on the scale: It can be common to feel like you’re not losing weight fast enough, despite following a healthy lifestyle. It’s important to remember that the number on the scale is only one measure of weight change.
2. Eating too many or too few calories: A calorie deficit is required for weight loss. This means you need to burn more calories than you consume.
3. Not exercising or exercising too much: During weight loss, you inevitably lose some muscle mass as well as fat, although the amount depends on several factors. If you don’t exercise at all while restricting calories, you’re likely to lose more muscle mass and experience a decrease in metabolic rate.
