Advanced Toe n Nail Care Treatments

Happy to announce that we are starting specialised Advanced Toe n Nail Care treatment at Feet First Clinic.

Nail and Toe care is very neglected area in India. Foot problems are increasing and are affecting a large part of the population.

A common problem in diabetic patients is nail fungus. People with other diseases that suppress the immune system, for example psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease or AIDS, are also more prone to nail fungus.

Although a mild nail fungus infection can be considered mainly a cosmetic problem for a fully healthy person, the consequences of leaving it untreated can be serious for a person with diabetes. Diabetics with nail fungus also have a higher risk of contracting secondary skin infections like cellulitis and paronychia.
