Occupational therapy (OT) for stroke recovery focuses on helping individuals regain independence in daily activities, improve physical and cognitive functions, and adapt to any long-term challenges that may arise post-stroke. OT is essential in stroke rehabilitation, as it addresses both motor and sensory impairments, as well as cognitive and psychological challenges.
Early intervention in stroke rehabilitation improves outcomes and reduces long-term disabilities. Tailored OT helps stroke survivors regain their independence and improve quality of life.
