Every year, first week of the month of August, 1st August to 7th August is celebrated as International Breastfeeding Week.

World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action
Every year there is a new theme. This year's theme 'Support Breastfeeding for Healthier Planet', is focusing on one of the major benefits which motivates me to keep helping families' achieve their breastfeeding goals. Breastfeeding is considered primarily a mother's job. But for successful breastfeeding journey, support is required from the husband, family and the community as well.
When a baby is breastfed, it's not just healthy for him/her but for his/her mother and our planet as well.
Breastfeeding is green.

WHO recommends mothers worldwide to exclusively breastfeed infants for the child's first six months to achieve optimal growth, development and health. Thereafter, they should be given nutritious complementary foods and continue breastfeeding up to the age of two years or beyond.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that breastfeeding is the optimal source of nutrition through the first year of life. We recommend exclusively breastfeeding for about the first six months of a baby's life, and then gradually adding solid foods while continuing breastfeeding until at least the baby's first birthday. Thereafter, breastfeeding can be continued for as long as both mother and baby desire it.

It's very common to see kids eat in front of the screen, being picky about food, refusing vegetables, taking long time to eat, keeping food in the mouth and refusing to chew, throwing tantrum when they want a particular fun food, not eating on their own and all this is so common that many thinks that it's normal and child will outgrow on its own with age.
Sorry thats not true!!
Stressful mealtimes can be avoided.
Want your child to enjoy home cooked healthy meals?
