My Miraculous Birth

My journey with Dr. Veda Simons has been nothing short of miraculous. Having had two C-sections followed by one normal delivery, I never imagined that at the age of 41, my fourth baby’s birth would be such a smooth and empowering experience.

Throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Veda guided me with such dedication—continuously monitoring, patiently addressing every concern, and always being just a call away. When the day finally arrived, she helped me deliver my baby boy safely through water birthing. The entire process was natural, calm, and stress-free—no pushing, only gentle breathing in a serene environment.

I’m also deeply grateful to her daughter, Suman, whose presence, encouragement, and care during the delivery made me feel supported every step of the way. Together, they created not just a medical experience, but a truly beautiful and memorable journey into motherhood once again.

REMEMBERING OUR MOMS:
FROM TEARS TO JOY: IN GOD I TRUST

My husband and I were very excited when we learnt that I was pregnant with our third child. We were extremely happy to welcome this little one in our lives. So we went to our family hospital for check up.

My previous two deliveries had been cesaereans so it was my deepest wish that at least this time I should be able to have normal delivery. However when we went to meet the doctor, and enquired about the chances of normal delivery, she just bluntly said that it's impossible. I was completely heart broken. After praying for sometime and with faith in our good Lord and motivation from my family, my husband and I began our search for an alternative option, someone who could help us in our journey to normal delivery. That's when we came across Dr. Veda's website and about Dr Sherekar's Hospital (Daimaas) Having read the information, we felt some hope and decided to get an appointment.

When we met Dr. Veda , I explained my background and my desire. Her reaction was priceless, she gave us a hope that surely a normal delivery could be possible after two cesaereans. We just had to follow all her instructions and at the end we would do a scar scan following which we could do a normal delivery. And so began our journey with this wonderful human being who we were indeed blessed to have as our doctor.

Dr. Veda is an extremely positive person who encouraged and motivated me throughout my pregnancy. She made me feel very comfortable and put all my fears at ease. She shared her no. And was always ready to answer any questions anytime.

After my last check up, I was supposed to do the scar scan the next weekend. However even before we could take the scan, my labour began, perhaps God was saying my dear I'm here to do it for you. My labour started on the very day I had my check up and I had a sleepless night. Early in the morning at 6:00 am I called doctor and told her about my pain, she asked to meet her at 9:00 am. We reached the hospital and had a check up done, at that point in time, it sounded like my body was not ready as there was no effacement or dilation this was worrying as the baby had descended down. Dr. Veda advised me to remain in the hospital under observation, they would keep checking the heart beat of the baby every hour and if the heart beat goes low at any point in time she would go for C-section otherwise she would monitor how my labour progresses, she said she'll be back in the evening to check.

We did get a little anxious but I was confident that my Lord will not let me down. I called out for Jesus and mama Mary to come to my aid. We were at the hospital and my pain increased overtime, baby's heart beat was normal throughout. Somewhere at around 5:00 pm my brother started praise and worship and I joined him. During the 2 hour session I felt calm and could bear my pain smoothly. At 8:00 pm doctor came and checked me and Praise God I was 5 cm dilated every thing looked perfect for a normal delivery. It was my Lord who did it for me. The doctor was overjoyed and she mentioned that the progress was awesome and it was a miracle the way the situation was 180 degree reversed to what it was in the morning.

Next day morning around 7.00 am I was in the birthing pool and the warm water helped immensely in regards to my labour. It was an ordeal of more than 12hours but Dr. Veda remained calm and motivated me throughout, my husband by my side was a great inspiration, I could sense him bearing the pain with me.

Finally I delivered my beautiful little baby girl on 5th February at 9:15 am. All praise and honour to Divine providence who led me in this journey and provided Dr. Veda as a birthing partner. In this world of today where you hear about cesaereans everytime, here is a doctor who gives you hope and walks by you.
Thank you Dr.Veda for everything you've done for us. May God bless you in all your endeavors.

Our Birth Story – A Journey of Strength, Faith & Gratitude

Our journey into parenthood has completely changed our perspective on life. It has redefined who we are — as individuals, as partners, and now, as parents. And if there is one person who stands at the heart of this transformation, it is Dr. Veda Simons.

Dr. Veda is more than a doctor — she is a gifted soul. She doesn’t just help bring babies into the world, she guides people into parenthood. With her presence, her wisdom, and her calm strength, she has helped us not only welcome our baby boy into the world but step into this new chapter of our lives with confidence and love.

We first met Dr. Veda with one wish in our hearts — to experience a normal, natural delivery. And from that moment on, she held our hand, not just medically but emotionally. Her continuous guidance, support, and belief in us became our foundation.

Thanks to her, we prepared for the big day as best as we could — but still, no amount of preparation could quiet the nerves that came when the moment truly arrived.
In the early hours of July 5th, at 1:00 AM, my wife Christina began experiencing strong contractions. We rushed to the hospital, anxious and filled with anticipation. At that point, she was just 1 cm dilated — and we knew the road ahead would be long. But we were ready to face it — together.

As the night turned into morning, the pain grew, and so did Christina’s strength. Every contraction tested us. Every moment demanded patience, courage, and faith. By morning, her dilation had progressed to 3 cm but out baby didn’t descend.
That’s when Dr. Veda stepped in with her grace, calm expertise and took over with confidence and care. She adjusted medications, monitored closely, and offered constant reassurance. By 1:00 PM, Christina had progressed significantly — the baby had dropped fully into the pelvis, and she was almost ready to give birth.
There were no shortcuts. No easy outs. Just raw, real labor. Every breath, every cry, every contraction — it was all leading to him.

At exactly 3:00 PM, after 14 long, unforgettable hours, we heard a sound we’ll never forget: our baby boy’s first cry. The room fell still for a moment, like even the walls were pausing to listen. That cry meant everything. It meant life, love, and the start of something entirely new.
The pain faded. The exhaustion dulled. What remained was a rush of love so intense, it took our breath away. Our baby was here — healthy, perfect, and deeply loved.

This story is one we’ll carry forever — not just of how our son came into the world, but of the strength, love, and support that brought him here. From Christina’s endurance to Dr. Veda’s unwavering care, and the silent prayers whispered between contractions — every moment was a part of something sacred.
And now, the real journey begins — as a family of three. 💛

Forever with love & gratitude
Samson, Christina & our new born

Not Just Healthy But Natural

It is my pleasure to share my experience of birthing. It is always a memorable event for any couple to become a parent and welcome a soul in your world.

After we found out about my pregnancy, it was natural to have apparent questions and doubts about how future will unfold itself. The major concern was to have a safe and healthy delivery, not just healthy but naturally.

There has been so much research about a natural delivery being a healthier one for both the baby and the mother. I didn't want to go through the pain and agony after birthing a baby with caesarean section and my only motto was get myself hooked to a gynecologist who can surely guide me for a natural delivery.

It was very quick to get in touch with Dr. Veda Simons (destiny brought me here,I believe) through a reference without a lot of search. In Dr. Veda Simons at Daimaas Natural Birth Center, we found hope that I can deliver my baby naturally. We started seeing her every fortnight and each time our conviction and hope became stronger. Her advices and guidance through out has come to a great help. She has a strong root and foundation for encouraging natural delivery over C section.

During our 7-8 months of consulting, the time now was nearing. I was at my full term and started to contract, having been so close to Dr. Veda all this while of consulting, I was in a regular intervals communicating the progress of contraction. I had opted for a water birthing.

On 14th July, early at 1 am, my contraction had started and it continued the entire day, on advice of Dr. Veda, we reached her clinic at 10 pm the same day. The contraction had started to become intense the entire night. Early morning,on 15th July at 7 am, I entered the water for birthing my baby. My dilation was quite slow, I was 6 cm dilated till 7 am. I could feel the intensity of labour, but it was comforting due to my stay in the water, otherwise it would have been difficult for me to tolerate the labour pain and would have given up the hope of natural delivery. Dr. Veda in the entire process was by my side, supporting and patiently waiting for my dilation.

After more than 24 hours at around 9.30 am she broke my water bag to check if my baby is in distress or not. To our good fortune, water was transparent and baby's heart rate was also normal. I again went into water for comforting myself during the contraction.

At around 12 noon, I was almost 10 cm dilated, I was not able to give a Desired push for my baby to come out in water. Dr. Veda adviced to come out and push hard, it was those last 30 min, which was so hard to get my baby out in this world. Dr. Veda had told earlier that my labour would be longer due baby's position and I was mentally ready for it. I surrendered myself to the pain completely as I was determined and had not thought about any other way out or option to get my baby out. During this phase,as it seem to get harder to get my baby out, Dr. Veda commented that, this would become the case of a C section. I was thinking that I made the best choice to deliver here, otherwise I would have ended up with C section.

Having complete 10 cm diliated, after long 20 Min of intense push, my baby was finally out and immediately my baby girl was given to me on my chest for her and my comfort. I was elated to have her first touch with me, having been in my womb for 9 months. Within an hour of delivery, I could breastfeed her and she was happy to have her first nutrition outside the womb.

Some of the striking things to note is -

NO GYNECOLOGIST:
Would give such a personal time for long hours on clearing basics of birthing and many other relevant aspects related to birthing
Would be so emotionally involved like Dr. Veda
Would be so transparent and open about birthing process and issues
Would be patient for so long during the delivery. In my case it was long 36 hours of labour
My story becomes all the more relevant in present context because amidst the array of mothers going in C section in our society, a vaginal delivery has become rare case.

It has given me as a woman an empowerment to birth my baby and I think I am a privileged one to get an opportunity. I feel grateful to Daimaas Natural Birth Center for giving me the most memorable event of my life.

For those of you who wish to have natural delivery, Daimaas Natural Birth Center is a place to go.
