A major fire broke out near Orion Business Park behind Cine Wonder Mall on Ghodbunder Road, Kapurbawdi Junction and then spread to a neighbouring shopping mall today behind our building. There was heavy traffic when I passed by my bike but the police, RTO and even public were helping clear the traffic. People were even busy capturing the incident in their mobile and taking selfie.
No one has been reported injured or trapped so far. The fire was reported sometime after 8:30 pm.

Fire engines and police personnel are at the spot but the fire could still be seen from our balcony to be burning on all the four floor.

Two major fires have been reported in a slum area in Mumbai's Malad East, with one declared as level-3 fire. Smoke can be seen billowing from Anand Nagar and Appa Pada areas in Malad East. The fire officials received the first call regarding the blaze in Anand Nagar at around 4.52pm, which the Brihanmumbai Municpical Corporation (BMC) declared as level 1 and later upgraded it to level 2.

Fire tenders, jumbo water tankers and other equipment were engaged in controlling the blaze. An ambulance has been also stationed at the site. No details were immediately available on the cause of the fire.

Sharing an update on the situation, BMC said there have been explosions in 15-20 LPG cylinders and 10 lines of 12 motor pumps are in operation at the spot. A dead body was also recovered and sent to hospital.

Fire At Slum In Mumbai's Malad, Four Fire Engines At The Spot: Report

Mumbai: A fire broke out at a slum in northern Mumbai's Malad this evening, news agency ANI reported. Four fire trucks are at the spot. A thick plume of smoke was seen coming from the middle of the slum.
People could be seen milling around the slum to take a closer look at the fire from a safe distance.

Fire department officials said they are trying to stop the blaze from spreading to the entire slum, where rooms after rooms are joined with single walls, mostly made of flammable material like wood and plastics.

Mumbai: Fire breaks out in Fashion Street, over 12 shops gutted, no injuries reported.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade has mobilised fire tenders on the spot. Reportedly, more than 20 shops have been engulfed in the fire.

Mumbai : A Fire erupted near Churchgate Railway Station Gate No.3, Ahead of Ahilyabai Holkar Chouk on Thursday afternoon.

Locals said that the blaze was in garbage that was lying unattended on the east side of the railway station premises. Though there were No Casualties fire itself costs.
