Case -

- Patient reported to us with fractured crown with 12.

- On clinical examination & radiographic investigation, it was seen that, both 12 & 11 were previously treated with RCT. PFM Crowns were placed.

- 12 had, secondary root caries, below the gingival margin. Not ideal situation for Post & Core Built-up.

- Patient has history os diabetes and on regular dialysis. Patient wanted to avoid extraction or any surgical procedure.

Treatment -

- Submerged 12, with restoration with composite.

- Crown removed with 11, followed by New joint PFM crowns with 11 & 12 ( Cantilever ).

Blood maintains and supports the body like roots supporting the tree. So the blood is considered as life(jeeva).

When blood gets vitiated by doshas it causes various diseases. Rakthamokshana or blood letting is that procedure which expels out vitiated blood ( impure blood) from the body.

Raktamokshana is an effective blood purification therapy, in which carefully controlled removal of small quantities of impure blood is conducted to neutralise accumulated toxins. When excess toxicity of rakta and pitta has occurred so much so that it cannot be cured by herbs or any other procedure, raktamokshan comes to rescue.

Diseases of the skin, tumors, oedema and diseases arising from blood will never occur in people indulging in blood letting(whenever required).Raktamokshana is indicated in vericose veins, acute pain, baker's cyst, psoriasis or other skin disorders,
