Holāshtak isn’t a time to fear — it’s a time to purify.
The days before Holi are meant for inner alignment, karmic cleansing, and conscious completion.
What to do during Holashtak:
• Finish pending tasks instead of starting new ones.
• Deep clean your space — physical and energetic.
• Chant, meditate, or sit in silent reflection daily.
• Offer prayers to your Ishta Devata or Kul Devata.
• Practice forgiveness — release grudges before the Holika fire.
• Donate food, clothes, or essentials as an act of seva.
• Journal what you are ready to burn and let go.
This is a sacred pause before rebirth.
Prepare your mind. Cleanse your heart. Lighten your karma.
So when the fire is lit, you rise lighter.

During Holāshtak the energy is intense, unstable, and karmically active. Instead of forcing beginnings, we are asked to reflect & go inwards.
Let these days prepare you for rebirth, so when the Holika fire burns, what no longer serves you turns to ash.
