The roof or Terrace of the house should slope towards the northeast and The rainwater should flow to the north, east, or northeast direction of the House .

Its Best Advisable to Have White / Cream Tiles on the Terrace or the Room, This Helps Reflect the Sun Rays and the Rooms Below it don't get Too Hot During the Summer Seasons.

The Balconies and Verandah are Best Recommended in the North East / East / North of the House.
Square Balconies are Best Recommended.

Small Flowerpots on the Balconies are Recommended Best Plants are Money Plant / Chinese Bamboo and Tulsi Plant on the East / North East of the Balcony.
No creepers should be planted on a verandah. The Sitting Area on the verandah or Balcony should be set on the south or west sides.

Shoes can be removed and placed on the verandah. Show Rack is Best Recommended in the North West Side.

Trees and Plants As Per Vastu Shastra

BELOW ARE A FEW VASTU RULES FOR PLANTING TREES AND PLANTS ON YOUR HOUSE / FACTORY

1) Smaller Plants may be planted on the east or north sides
2) Only Tulsi and Haldi Plant is Allowed in the North East Corner, No Other Plant is Recommended.
3) No Tall trees should not be close to a building as they block the sunlight. Also, No Shadow of any Tree Should not fall on the House, This is a Major Vastu Defect.
4) Large Tree Should be Far from the Walls and the Building as Their Roots go Deep Inside the Ground and Can Damage the Foundation of the House.
5) Any Large Tree Like Coconut / Mango ETc is Best Recommended on the South / West or South West of the Property.
6) As Per Vastu You Should Not allow tree branches to touch the house.
7) There Should be No Thorny Plants in the House.
8) Banyan and Peepal Trees are sacred trees they should only be planted near a temple or at a sacred place.
9) The Garden Should have a Slope Towards The North East.

As Per Vastu Shastra, Colors also play a dynamic role and Different colors reflect different energies and are best paired with specific directions and rooms in any home.

The color combinations in Vaastushaastra are based on the planets, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury Venus Etc

MAIN DOOR COLOR = It is auspicious to paint the main entrance of the house with cream, White, Beige or Similar Early COlors. Blue, grey or black should never be used for the Main Entrance or Main Door. If You Have a Metal Grill Door Make Sure it's Colored White.

KITCHEN AND KITCHEN PLATFORM - The best color for the kitchen is white. This represents the cleanliness & sacredness of the kitchen. The Kitchen Platform Should be Green Granite as Green Represents Plants and Vegetables. White Marble can also be used for the Kitchen Platform.

The Best Placement for the kitchen is on the south east Side of the House , Since As Per Vastu South East is Agni Kone .

Wife and husband most of the time spend together mostly in bedroom, while wife spends in kitchen.

Tips for Kitchen :
Don’t leave the leftover Dirty plates OverNight. to time and keep it clean for sure at the end of the day or after cooking food.en.h East is Agni Kone.
One Shoul Always Face towards east while cooking food.

Empty the trash / dust bin in the kitchen from time to time and keep it clean for sure at the end of the day or after cooking food .

Don’t leave the leftover Dirty plates OverNight .

Tips for Bedroom :

Must sleep with head towards south and feet facing north.

Metal Beds are Bad as Per the Rules of Vastu , Always Use a Wooden Bed.

On the double cot bed, don’t place 2 separate mattresses, instead use a single mattress for the Complete Bed.

No mirrors Allowed Opposite the Bed in the Bedroom , if you can’t remove them use a thick curtain to cover them when U Sleep .

In my 20 Yrs of Vastu Experience, I Have Seen that People Select or Buy the wrong Types of House Simply Because they Don't Know How to Check the Facing of the Door.

Many People Think that the Direction of Getting inside the House is Called the Facing BUT The opposite is True. If You Enter the House and Sun is Rising from the Opposite Side Window That Means that Your House Door is in the West Side of the House Many People Mistake This as East ENTRY. This is Wrong .

To decide The direction of your Door Facing, You SHould Stand at the main entrance of your house and face Outside the Door. Now whatever direction you face is the direction Outside the Door is the Facing of the House or the Door Direction of the House.

Extensions on any other side are inauspicious. Extensions of the northwest side will cause you to lose money and peace.

If the land is cut in the corner this is not good. If possible the land to
fill in the missing corner should be purchased. If the land is cut short on the northeast side it is very bad and is not aspicious; do not purchase it. It is like a headless body.

Round, oval, and triangular plots should be avoided.

It is good if the plot is narrower at the entrance and wider at its rear,
but the opposite is not good.
