As much as I detest Composite Veneers there are the occasional cases where I make an exception. Especially when the patients budget is low, these make for a decent alternative to Ceramic Veneers. In this case the patient wanted replacement of his old veneers that were chipping and discoloring. He was warned about the lower veneers being misshapen due to his deep bite.

I cannot emphasise my preference of Ceramic Veneers over Composite ones enough! No matter how well you polish them, composite veneers tend to discolor, stain & chip. Case in point, this pt has been coming to me since the past 14 years every 6-8 months to have her composite veneers polished or patched up! I have been begging her to get Ceramic ones ever since! A Full Mouth Rehabilitation with Multiple Root Canals , Post & Core Build ups and PFM bridges. I usually try keeping longer appointments and complete all the Root Canals in a Single Sitting , but in this case there were multiple chronic infected roots due to which we had to do them in 2 sittings. The patient had minimal Post op discomfort. [ 37 more words. ]
