♋️Ram~Ram♋️Maharaj ji encouraged the devotees to recite Hanuman Chalisa (a forty-verse prayer in praise of Hanuman) and Sundarkand (the chapter in the Ramayana that describes Hanuman’s exploits).He also guided them in the prayers and annual religious functions at the ashram. Yet he himself would not participate in them and kept aloof from formal ceremonies such as the consecration of temples. He would tell people, “God resides within every heart.” Sometimes he said that food is God. About God’s darshan, he said, “God exists in all aspects of nature, his creation. He is everywhere so is never out of our sight. The fault is ours if we are not able to see him or do not earnestly try to see him. We must not limit our vision. The narrow tendencies of the mind keep us so entangled in mundane activities that we are not aware of him. Our impure thoughts prevent us from achieving peace of mind and divine love.” He often said that love is the best means for God-realisation and would repeat again and again, “There is nothing dearer to Ram than love.”

♋️Ram~Ram♋️There is a story in India of a king of a large kingdom who lived in a huge pal-ace. His Guru was a sadhu (renunciate) who lived in a little kutir (hut) beside the palace. One day the king went out of the palace to visit his Guru at his kutir. The king presented a document that gave the entire kingdom to his Guru. The Guru accepted the document say-ing, "Fine.
Now you run it for me." This is the way it works. And you don't have to advertise it to everyone. I've often felt that regardless of his public words, Steve Jobs did this with Apple. He gave it all to Maharajji and Maharajji told him to run it. It has been suggested that Steve Jobs may never have given to charity, but he gave some of the greatest gifts the world has ever known to all the people of Earth. Steve's companies changed everything for all of us. The sum total of the thing within Steve's lifetime is that he created supercomputers and sold them to the masses often in the guise of a cute little box, then beyond the desk, he virtually transformed the music industry, completely upped the anti for the whole communication industry and utterly transformed the production of anima-tion.
For many years, since I first heard about Steve's connection with Mahar-ajji's satsang, I've believed the "magic" behind Steve Jobs and Apple was Maharajji. Just look at how the whole thing evolved. Maharajji took care of Steve.., all the way. Lo and behold, the young hippie drop-out who stayed, for a time, at Maharajji's Kainchi Ashram, as a spiritual seeker, eventually had billions of dollars in play and billions of people were positively affected.
I feel like Maharajji gave Steve the early concept of Apple and gave him the ideas all along the path, then He took it away (but left him with a lot of money) and set him to work in another area of the game and then He brought Steve back to take the really big step of really taking over a true leadership role in the world. ♋️राम~राम♋️ एक बार कोई महाराज जी के पास आया और उसने कहा, "आप जानते हैं, मेरी कोई भक्ति नहीं है और मेरा ईश्वर या ऐसी किसी भी चीज़ में कोई विश्वास नहीं है। और, क्या मुझे राम नाम का जाप करना चाहिए, आप जानते हैं, भले ही मेरा कोई विश्वास नहीं है?" और उन्होंने कहा, "अच्छा, अगर तुम नहीं करोगे तो क्या करोगे; भले ही तुम्हारा विश्वास न हो, तुम्हें यह जाप करना ही होगा क्योंकि अगर नहीं, तो तुम करोगे क्या?" आप जानते हैं, "अगर तुम कुछ नहीं करोगे तो सही दिशा में आगे बढ़ने का रास्ता तुम्हें कैसे मिलेगा?"

"एक संत को वही जान सकता है जो स्वयं संत है।" यही बात ज्ञानियों ने कही है। इसलिए, कम से कम मैं अपने लिए तो यह दावा नहीं कर सकता कि मैं बाबाजी महाराज जैसे महान संत को जानता हूँ। भगवद्गीता में हम सीखते हैं कि एक संत दोहरे व्यक्तित्व वाला होता है—दिव्य और मानव। हममें से कई लोगों ने बाबाजी में मानव व्यक्तित्व देखा है, पर इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि हम यह दावा कर सकें कि हमने उनमें दिव्य व्यक्तित्व भी देख लिया है। एक संत में, दिव्य व्यक्तित्व मानव शरीर में समाया हुआ है, परंतु पूरी तरह से एक जैसा नहीं है। मानव का तल और दिव्य का शिखर एक-दूसरे से बहुत दूर होते हैं। आंतरिक स्थान में इनका मेल होता है, और महान मानवों में, कुछ दिव्य गुण पूरी तरह से उनके मानव गुणों में विलीन हो जाते हैं, जिससे मानव और दिव्य के बीच का सारा भेद मिट जाता है। मैं यह बात बाबा के बारे में अपने स्वयं के अनुभव से कह रहा हूँ। मैंने उन्हें कभी भी अपने दिव्य मुकुट के साथ नहीं देखा, पर मैंने हमेशा उनमें प्रेम और करुणा के दिव्य गुण देखे। वे हमेशा बेसहारा लोगों के दुखों को अपने ऊपर लेकर उनकी पीड़ा कम करने के लिए तैयार और सजग रहते थे। उनका शरीर रोगों का छत्ता बन गया था। यह कीमत थी जो उन्हें अपनी करुणा और मदद के लिए तत्परता के लिए चुकानी पड़ी। हर व्यक्ति किसी न किसी तरह की शारीरिक और मानसिक पीड़ा से ग्रस्त होता है। पर कई लोगों के लिए, शारीरिक या मानसिक भूख या बीमारी तीव्र हो जाती है। बाबाजी के लोगों की मदद करने की एक स्पष्ट विधि थी—भूखों को भोजन कराना, बीमारों का इलाज करवाना, और बेसहारा लोगों को धन और सामग्री देना। आश्रमों में उनके जीवन के संक्षिप्त प्रसंग भूखों की देखभाल और बीमारों को ठीक करने में बीते, जैसे कोई गृहस्थ अपने बड़े परिवार के साथ व्यस्त रहता है।

♋️राम~राम♋️ जब हम वृन्दावन पहुँचे तो महासमाधि के तीसरे दिन था और वहाँ भारी भीड़ थी। चिता की आग अभी भी सुलग रही थी। सबसे पहले जो व्यक्ति हमारे पास आया, वह विश्वम्बर था। उसने कहा, "अरे दादा, आप तो बहुत देर से आए। हम कल दोपहर तक आपका इंतज़ार करते रहे, पर जब आप नहीं आए तो हमें आग जलानी पड़ी।" यह सुनकर निस्संदेह, मेरी आँखों में आँसू आ गए। मैंने वे बहुत ही भद्दी तस्वीरें देखीं जो प्रदर्शित की जा रही थीं: एक फोटोग्राफर ने महाराज जी के शरीर की ढेर सारी तस्वीरें ले ली थीं और उन्हें बेचा जा रहा था। यह बहुत चौंकाने वाला था, पर मैंने सोचा, "बाबा, आप तो सदा इतने कृपालु और दयालु रहे हैं और अंतिम क्षणों में भी आप मुझे नहीं भूले। अगर मैं यहाँ होता, तो मुझे ही चिता को अग्नि देने को कहा जाता। आपने मुझे इससे बचा लिया।" मेरे आँसुओं को कोई नहीं समझ पाया। उन्होंने सोचा कि मैं उनके विछोह के दुःख में रो रहा हूँ। उन्होंने कहा, "दादा, आपको नहीं रोना चाहिए।" मैं कैसे समझाता? अगले व्यक्ति जिन्होंने मुझसे बात की, वे श्री मेहरोत्रा थे। उन्होंने कहा, "दादा, आपने हमें यह नहीं बताया था कि महाराज जी हृदय के रोगी थे।"
मैंने वास्तव में अपना आपा खो दिया और चिल्लाया, "क्या बात कर रहे हैं? ऐसा कौन सा रोग, कौन सा कष्ट था जो उन्हें नहीं था? सिर के बाल से लेकर पैर की नाखून तक, उनके शरीर का हर अंग और कोशिका रोगों से भरी हुई थी। उन्होंने मेरा रोग ले लिया, उन्होंने आपका रोग ले लिया, उन्होंने हम सभी का ले लिया। इसीलिए तो हम अपना अच्छा जीवन ji रहे हैं। क्योंकि बाबा ने उसकी कीमत चुका दी है।"

MAHARAJJI'S PARADOX:
He demanded TOTAL TRUTH from his devotees. Yet, he was known as "a big liar." What is the real lesson? 🌳

"TOTAL TRUTH IS NECESSARY. YOU MUST LIVE BY WHAT YOU SAY. IF YOU LIVE IN TRUTH, GOD WILL ALWAYS STAND WITH YOU."— Maharajji

THE BURNING SHOP 🔥
A man came to Maharajji pleading poverty, saying he had no possessions to donate. Maharajji let him go.
Later, the man rushed back in a panic, yelling that his shop was on fire and he’d be ruined.

Maharajji replied: “I thought you said you had no possessions! You are lying now. Your shop is not burning.”

The man returned to his store to find only one bag of chili was smoking.

The Lesson: A lie creates immediate karmic friction in the universe. Truth is not just a principle; it is a law of nature.

THE BOOK OF "LIES" 📖
Ram Dass gave Maharajji the book Be Here Now. Months later, Maharajji confronted him: "You are printing lies."
Ram Dass had included minor inaccuracies he believed were true. Maharajji insisted they be corrected immediately, despite a $10k cost.

The Lesson: When you know something is untrue, you cannot propagate it. It will hurt you. Truth is more valuable than money or convenience.

THE WHITE LIE TRAP 🪤
A devotee pretended to remember someone to be polite. Maharajji caught him instantly.

Another devotee gave an ambiguous "maybe" to avoid an invitation. Maharajji trapped him into following through.

The Lesson: Even "harmless" social lies create karma and entanglement. Speaking truth, however difficult, is the only path to freedom.

THE PARADOX: THE COMPASSIONATE "LIE" ❤️
Maharajji would often lie. He promised to visit homes and didn't come. He told mothers their sick children would be fine.
When asked why, he said: "Do you expect me to tell people that their loved ones will die? How can I hurt their feelings?"
He was blunt only to prove a point: brutal honesty can be cruel.
