Step-by-Step Clinical Protocol:

1. Diagnosis & Case Selection:
• Clinical and radiographic assessment
• Confirm pulp status (vital/non-vital)
• Explain procedure to patient and take informed consent
2. Anesthesia and Isolation:
• Administer local anesthesia (e.g., 2% lignocaine with epinephrine)
• Achieve proper isolation using rubber dam to avoid contamination
3. Access Cavity Preparation:
• Use a high-speed bur to create access to the pulp chamber
• Remove all pulp tissue and locate all canal orifices
• Irrigate using 2.5–5.25% Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl)
4. Working Length Determination:
• Use Electronic Apex Locator (EAL) for accuracy
• Confirm with a working length radiograph
5. Canal Preparation Using Rotary File (F1):
• Use NiTi Rotary System (ProTaper or equivalent)
• Sequence: S1 → S2 → F1
• Irrigate copiously between each file:
• NaOCl for disinfection
• EDTA (17%) to remove smear layer after shaping

🔁 Recapitulate with #10 or #15 K-file between rotary steps to maintain canal patency.

6. Final Irrigation Protocol:
• Rinse with NaOCl
• Rinse with EDTA (to remove smear layer)
7. Master Cone Selection (F1 GP Cone):
• Select F1 Gutta-Percha Cone corresponding to the final file used
• Check tug-back at working length
• Take a master cone fit radiograph to verify position
8. Obturation (F1):
• Use F1 GP Cone with sealer AH Plus
• Sealer application:
• Coat canal walls with sealer using GP cone itself
• Insert the F1 cone to full working length
• Use single cone technique
9. Post-Obturation:
• Remove excess GP from pulp chamber using heated instrument
• Clean chamber walls with alcohol
• Place coronal seal (glass ionomer or composite)
• Restore access cavity permanently if time permits

Post-Treatment Instructions:
• Mild discomfort may persist for 24–48 hours
• Advise analgesics (e.g., ibuprofen)
• Avoid chewing hard foods on treated tooth until final restoration
• Schedule follow-up if needed
