*Client Case Study: Overcoming Deep-Seated Fears*
*Background:*
The client presented with multiple fears, including a fear of boys, black people, crowds, loneliness, and an inability to stand up for herself. She believed these fears might be the result of a curse. Additionally, she had a long-standing fear of her aunt from childhood. Although suggested to address the inner child to heal the fear of her aunt, she opted to work on her other fears first.
*Past Life Regression (PLR) Session:*
During the PLR session, the client envisioned herself as a 25 to 30-year-old man with long flowing clothes and hair. Who lived in a small mud house that evoked feelings of happiness. Inside the house, an old lady, his mother, was sleeping peacefully.
In the next scene, she saw herself as a young boy wearing pants and a shirt, sitting in a playground. From behind a tree, a dark figure with large eyes watched him. The boy felt a strong urge to approach the figure but was unable to speak. The client identified this figure as someone present in her current life. Despite the figure's inactivity, the boy was terrified. She was instructed to leave all fear in that moment and return to the house.
Back in the house, the boy was surrounded by many relatives but felt no close bond with them. His parents were absent. Upon being asked to reflect on the dark figure’s frightening nature, the boy concluded that the figure found him special, which explained the intense staring, though the gaze was still frightening.
The next scene transported them to a beach, where only the figure’s eyes appeared scary. The client recognized those eyes in a few people from her current life. They did not speak during their last encounter, so the client was advised to leave the figure behind and return home. Once back, she found herself alone as all her relatives had left, and no family members were alive. The calendar showed the date as January 25, 1996.
*Regression Exploration:*
The following day, the client checked to see if the figure would meet her again but found no sign of him. Determined, she searched for him in the village. She discovered his medium-sized house but was reluctant to enter. Despite living in the same village, she was unfamiliar with that area.
Further regression took her to her childhood at age 2 to 3, where no one was present in the house at first. Eventually, her aunt (maasi) and dad appeared. In a subsequent scene, a few friends visited her, but she could not trust her aunt. She envisioned herself as 33 years old, with her aunt being 90, reflecting her current life.
Although the root cause of her fears remained elusive, the session provided her with a potential solution or method to manage them. An attempt to project two years into the future to check her fears’ status yielded no vision, so the trance was concluded.
*Conclusion:*
The client’s journey through PLR highlighted various significant past and current life events and figures contributing to her fears. While she did not pinpoint the exact origin of her fears, the process offered insight and potential strategies for coping.
