The Liver Screening Camp held on 6th July 2022 by the Medical Centre had a great response.

A 20 year boy walks in to the clinic with fractured upper central incisor. The incident had occurred during a kabaddi match. Patient had no sensitivity or pain, but was concerned with the esthetics.
As a young adult esthetic plays a very important role in lifestyle & hence is given priority.
Treatment was a Composite restoration:
Composite restoration is a resin based esthetic restorative material which replaces the fractured or decayed tooth strcture. It is a less invasive restorative matetial compared to any other as it binds with the tooth surface by chemical bond & hence less tooth structure is compromised. Composite restoration have superior physical properties & hence less prone to fracture or wear & tear of the restoration is less. As it hardens after exposure to Ultra-violent (UV) light, there are no post operative restrictions.
Composite restoration is a good solution for restoration in front as well as back teeth. It can also be used to close the minor gaps that might be there between your teeth.
