Today 26th June 2025 we Distributed Educational materials to Total 80 underprivileged students consisting of Notebooks, Pencils box, Drawing books, Text Books, Crayons And 15 Water bottles to anganwadi children.

We at Silver Innings are responsible citizen, its our endeavour to bring change through our actions; children and education need our support.

Since 2013 we have adopted Two ZP (Zilla Parishad) government primary schools at Satpala and Ranbaug, Kalambh at Nalasopara west and we try our best to support them with educational and school going materials.

Social Responsibility programme for overall education development of our Future Generation and Promotion of Local Marathi Medium Primary school.

We strongly believe that Education is Antidote for Suffering of Old Age.

We are grateful to our A1SNEHANJALI family members and donors for supporting our initiative for providing Educational material to children of tribals, daily wages earners and construction workers.

Since 2008, *Silver Inning Foundation* has been dedicated to creating an **Elder and Dementia-Friendly World*, where ageing is a *positive and rewarding experience*.

Our key initiatives include:
✔ Managing a *Dementia Care Home and Care Services*
✔ *Advocacy & Awareness* for elder rights
✔ *Referral Helpline & Resource Support*
✔ *Encouraging Senior Citizen Talent*
✔ *Adopting a ZP Primary School* for holistic education
✔ *Health Camps & Community Outreach*

However, the *financial challenges* brought on by the pandemic, coupled with rising costs for *staff salaries, rent, medicines, and essential supplies*, have made it difficult to sustain our projects.

Through our innovative approach we focus on Advocacy, Networking, Dissemination of Information and Knowledge, Healthy Ageing, Seniors Talent, Referral Resource Agency, Capacity Building, Inter-generation, Mainstreaming of Ageing, Assisted Living and Dementia Care.

What Elders should do to prevent :
• Avoid isolation. This can lead to loneliness, sadness, and depression and increase the possibility of abuse or neglect, even self-neglect.
• Keep in touch with family members and friends.
• Stay social and stay active. Keep in touch with old friends and make new ones.
• Consider volunteering in the community or becoming a surrogate grandparent or mentor to a child.
• Participate in religious and/or community activities.
• Don’t live with a person who has a history of violent or abusive behavior.
• Beware of family members or caregivers who might have a need for financial assistance or who have substance abuse issues.
• Be cautious in making financial decisions and monitor your financial affairs.
• Discuss any significant financial decisions or changes to legal documents with someone you trust completely before taking action.
• Beware of people who ask you to change your Will or add their names to your bank accounts or titles on property.
• Keep your legal and financial documents in a safe place.
If you are harassed or abused or see anyone being harassed, please report to Elders Helpline.
