Going with the trend!!

Although some trends are COOL 😎 and HARMLESS to follow, some of them need to be definitely discouraged.

- Some of the trends that need to be UnFollowed are:

🚫 IGNORING OUR HEALTH: Many of us just try to delay our doctor visits, Self medicate or Heath issues for various reasons thinking it would get better by itself. Sometimes this delay might lead to the problem worsening, hence it’s important to take timely action.

🚫 UNHEALTHY FOOD: Day by day our outings have increased and so has our unhealthy food intake. Be mindful about what you eat and drink. Have it in moderation, less frequent and control your potion size. Allocate cheat days to yourself and other days try to have more food, veggies, salads and water.

🚫 SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE: It is very very important to move. Even a drawer makes noise, catches rust and becomes hard to open and close when unused for a while. Same goes for our body!! When we are not moving our joints and all parts of body, our body gets rusted too (not in literal terms) and becomes stiff. We all have noticed that it’s difficult then to move those parts/body. Hence it’s very essential for us to indulge in some or the other form of exercise or movement.

MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM and it’s HOMOEOPATHY TREATMENT 🙋🏻‍♀️

Case of Molluscum in a young kid. He has been having such eruptions for a span of 5-6 months, started with 1-2 and now has been widespread. He wasn’t taking any treatment and was advised to start with Homeopathy by his Paediatrician. The THEN and NOW pictures are just within a span of one month. You will notice in the ‘NOW’ picture that the eruptions have become flatter or disappeared or have left light marks. He’s still under our treatment and within the next month will be completely fine.

👉🏻 Note the small eruptions al over the face and neck (The ‘then’ side of the picture). The eruptions will have a small white punctum (dot) on top which a characteristic appearance of molluscum

👉🏻 Molluscum is generally contagious and can be passed on from one person to another. Spreads very rapidly.

👉🏻 It is common amongst young kids, rarely seen in adults.

👉🏻 Starts with 1-2 eruptions and if not treated timely, spreads anywhere on the body. Most commonly seen on face and trunk.

Tips for Healthy - Glowing Skin 🤌🏻🧿

Here are some easy Natural ways to achieve a Shiny Glowy Healthy Skin:

🍓 Fruits like papaya, strawberry, tomatoes, banana, orange are bright and colourful. They are rich in nutrients and water.

🍅 Fruits are a good source of anti-oxidants which is beneficial to our skin.

🍊 We all have heard of fruit facials but at times it’s not possible to get it done every now and then.
So, this is one of the easiest and quickest way to get that facial glow.

I tend to have 2-3 kinds of fruits on a daily basis, either in breakfast or as a evening snack. While cutting the fruit, I take a small portion of one fruit and apply it over my face (as seen in the video). No special effort required and our job is simply done. Massage it in circular manner over the face, inside out and in an upward direction. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes. Wash and then pat dry with a clean towel. Repeat this 2-3 times a week. Use one fruit at a time.

🥭 Remember to wash your face to make sure it’s free of dust, moisturisers or oil before applying any kind of fruits or facials.

Fruits should be made an integral part of our daily diet.
It is important to teach your kids about its health benefits - start them young.
Kids follow their parents, hence it’s essential for parents to include fruits in your diet too.

📣 Health Benefits of Fruits:

🔹 Excellent source of fibre
🔹 Excellent source of water
🔹 Excellent source of essential vitamins and minerals
🔹 Have health boosting anti-oxidants
🔹 Reduces risk of developing heart diseases, cancer, digestive problems, inflammation and diabetes
🔹 Consume at least 2-3 types of fruits daily. You can go up to 2-5 servings of fruits
🔹 Try to include different colour fruits and seasonal fruits
🔹 Do not consume fruits along with lunch or dinner as it will increase the glycemic index
🔹 Certain fruits like mango, pineapple, Chikoo, grapes, etc have to be avoided in cases of diabetes
🔹 Best to check with your doctor which fruits are safe for you in case of any existing illness
