The villain in this story is Dermatitis

And here is what goes more than skin deep when it shows up in your life

Psychosomatic reason
Dermatitis often mirrors stuck emotions like suppressed anger, irritation, or feeling unsafe in your own skin

Physical aspects
Dryness, cracks, redness, bleeding, and constant discomfort

Symptoms
Pain, itching sometimes none, oozing, and difficulty with daily activities like typing, cooking, or even holding things

But here is the twist. Dermatitis is not just about the skin, it is your body whispering or sometimes shouting that something inside needs care.

How homeopathy works
Homeopathy looks beyond the surface symptoms and addresses the root cause by balancing the emotional triggers and the immune response. It works on the mind body connection, helping to release suppressed emotions while reducing inflammation and promoting natural healing from within.

The hero is emotional awareness, gentle self care, and holistic healing with therapies like homeopathy that treat you inside out

Mindful Navratri = Joyful Navratri

Navratri is a time of devotion, energy and celebration but with back-to-back garba nights and fasting, your body and mind can feel drained. Here’s how you can celebrate mindfully this season:

1)Move mindfully, not just enthusiastically

It’s easy to get carried away in the rhythm of dandiya but listen to your body. Move with grace and awareness to avoid injuries and unnecessary exhaustion.

2)Drink water with a purpose

Don’t just sip when thirsty. Hydrate before and after dancing to maintain energy levels and prevent cramps.

3)Take intentional pauses

Dance floors are exciting but rest is equally important. Take short breaks to breathe deeply, center yourself and recharge.

4)Fast smart with sattvic food

Fasting is sacred but it should also be nourishing. Choose fresh fruits, nuts and sattvic meals to keep your energy steady and your digestion light.

5)Dance to release, not to escape

Let the music be your therapy. Dance to connect with joy, devotion and release stored stress not just as a way to escape from reality.

This Navratri, celebrate not just with energy but with balance and mindfulness.

Every change of season brings along colds, flu, and viral infections that don’t just affect your immunity but also show up on your skin, hair, and digestion.

This is where homeopathy steps in as a gentle yet powerful system of healing.

1) Boosts Immunity Naturally → Helps your body fight recurrent colds and viral attacks without dependency on strong medications

2) Holistic Reset → Goes deeper to balance gut health, hormones, and stress instead of only masking symptoms

3) Safe and Gentle → With no side effects, remedies are suitable for children, adults, and even the elderly

4) Improves Vital Force → Restores the body’s natural healing energy, leaving you with glowing skin, stronger hair, and better digestion

5) Personalized Remedies → Every case is unique, and treatment is tailored to your constitution and lifestyle

Healing in homeopathy is not about quick fixes, it is about resetting your system from within so that you thrive in every season.

As doctors, we spend almost half of our lives training to solve our patients’ problems. That makes us natural solution-finders.

But when it comes to our own health, we often falter at following the very advice we give others.

Homeopathy has taught me one powerful truth, I can treat my patients better only when I am holistically fitter, happier, and mindful of my own boundaries.

It’s about practicing, not just preaching. Executing, not just exaggerating.
Because when I am emotionally resilient, I can guide my patients with sharper cognition and stronger presence of mind.

Of course, as doctors, we become chronic givers. But knowing where to empathize and where to draw a line is not just medicine, it’s a life skill for every caregiver.

Do you resonate with this balance between giving and setting boundaries?

Drop a “Yeah” in the comments if this speaks to you!

After the festivals, your gut often slips into a full-on sar jo tera chakra jaayein mode.
All the rich festive foods, late nights, and high-energy celebrations can leave your system feeling heavy, bloated, and drained.

When the gut is out of balance, the entire body feels the impact. Your energy levels drop, your nervous system becomes overstimulated, your emotions feel unsteady, and overall wellbeing takes a hit.

That is why a post-festive gut reset is essential for restoring both mind and body.

Why these five steps matter:

Hydration and gentle detox keep your digestive system moving, flush out excess salt and sugar, and prevent fatigue.

Gut-friendly foods rebuild healthy bacteria, which are directly linked to immunity, mental clarity, and energy balance.

Mindful eating regulates portion control, reduces overeating, and strengthens the gut-brain connection.

Movement and breathwork activate the digestive tract, release stress hormones, and restore circulation after days of indulgence.

Rest and screen detox allow your nervous system to calm down, supporting hormonal balance and giving your gut time to repair.

A reset is not about restriction but restoration. When your gut feels balanced, your emotions stabilize, your focus sharpens, and your body feels lighter.

Which of these steps do you feel is the most important for you right now?

As doctors, we meet patients every single day. From the outside, it may seem like sitting in a doctor’s chair is easy. But the reality is far from it.

Listening to patients’ issues, addressing their emotional struggles, solving their constant doubts, following up regularly, and remembering each case study—it’s a lot to hold together.

Now, you might say, “But isn’t that what a doctor is supposed to do?”
Of course, yes. That’s part of our calling.

But becoming and being a doctor also comes from a place of deep empathy. And when you’re empathetic, you carry a part of every patient’s journey within you. That’s why even doctors need breaks—to renew, refresh, and restore themselves.

Here’s how I take my intentional breaks:

1) Short getaways or staycations

2) Spending time with family to decompress

3) Practicing stress-relieving techniques to stay calm and resilient

4) Exploring new hobbies and activities

5) Networking with like-minded individuals to feel the warmth

Because a well-rested doctor can give back with more clarity, compassion, and care.

We are all doing the opposite of what festivals actually signify
Instead of making them an occasion to eat healthy and maintain balance in our gut microbiome we end up either
Over indulging in food
Under eating in the name of fasting

Both are equally harmful for gut function and microbiome load
It is time to recognize this and make a mindful shift

Here are 6 ways to keep your gut balanced whether fasting or feasting

1 Stay Hydrated
Water coconut water or herbal teas keep digestion smooth

2 Add Fiber
Fruits veggies and whole grains prevent bloating and support the gut

3 Portion Control
Eat small frequent meals instead of overloading your stomach

4 Go Probiotic
Curd buttermilk and fermented foods boost healthy gut bacteria

5 Break the Fast Gently
Start with light easy to digest foods before moving to heavy ones

6 Listen to Your Body
Stop eating when you feel full and avoid mindless overeating

This festive season let your gut celebrate too

Comment GUT if you have been observing gut issues after festivals and share this with all those who follow these unhealthy habits

Don’t feel like getting out of bed due to painful periods?
Well, it isn’t normal — it’s actually a red flag.

Menstrual pain that makes you skip work, cancel plans, or stay curled up in bed shouldn’t be brushed off as “just cramps.” It may be a sign of:

Hormonal imbalance

Endometriosis

Fibroids

Adenomyosis

Pelvic infections

Lifestyle & stress factors

So, when period pain is persistent or feels “common,” it doesn’t mean it’s normal.
It definitely needs attention!

Also remember, every health concern has a different root cause. That’s why menstrual pain must be addressed from its root, not masked with temporary fixes.

Your body is talking to you , don’t silence it.
Seek professional help and give your period health the attention it deserves.

Sedentary lifestyle and lack of movement

Sleep deprivation and disrupted circadian rhythm

Chronic work stress leading to inflammation and low immunity

Refined carbs replacing nutrient rich foods

Endocrine disruptors in food and skincare

Excess screen time and radiation exposure

Microplastics and harmful preservatives

Remember, PCOS does not show up the same way for everyone. One size fits all treatments do not work. But with the right approach, PCOS can be reversed
