Dear People,

Life-changing miracles happen inside hospitals every day. Doctors & patients were traditionally regarded as two sides of the same coin by society. But times have changed and doctors are now routinely assaulted and hospitals, vandalised. There are many discouraging stories of the strained doctor-patient relationship in the media on a daily basis. Widespread distrust is creeping in and it almost feels like India is at war with its healthcare providers making it an almost an 'Us Vs Them' situation.

“Trust” is the bedrock of any relationship. Have we forgotten that doctors and patients are both human & have no raison d'etre without each other?
