With the advent of modern day assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF and ICSI, it is now possible for most infertile couples to have a child. Contrary to popular myths and beliefs, these therapies are simple and successful. At the Mumbai Fertility Clinic & IVF Centre, we provide state-of-the-art IVF & ICSI procedures in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. On par with international standards, we provide all facilities for diagnosis of infertility such as Transvaginal ultrasonography, operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, hormone estimations and semen analysis as well as the entire range of ART including IVF, ICSI, Assisted hatching, embryo freezing, egg donation, s***m donation, embryo donation, intrauterine insemination (IUI) and blastocyst transfer. On the horizon are the techniques of IVM - in vitro maturation of oocytes, PGD and FISH technique relating to genetic disorders and embryonic stem cell cultures. Dr Jatin P Shah and his team of expert gynecologists, endoscopists and embryologists has been performing IVF & ICSI very successfully since the past 17 years, having in the process helped more than 5000 patients to have IVF & ICSI babies. Besides, they have to their credit countless pregnancies through simpler methods such as Intrauterine insemination. In the year 2009 alone, the clinic had 540 take home livebirths through IVF & ICSI, of which 166 were twin pregnancies giving a total of 706 babies. The Mumbai Fertility Clinic & IVF Centre is based in south Mumbai, easily accessible from the airport and western and central train terminuses. The team has also successfully helped establish IVF & ICSI programs in other cities of India at Agra, Cochin, Madurai, Erode, Chennai and Pune. Dr Jatin P Shah has the unique distinction of being able to perform all IVF tasks including ultrasonography, oocyte retrieval surgery, IVF embryology and embryo transfer single handedly and this is probably the reason for the exceptionally high success rates. His ability to trouble shoot for problems in IVF & ICSI programs in different laboratories has earned him the nickname of "IVF Commando". The Mumbai Fertility Clinic & IVF Centre currently performs close to 1500 IVF & ICSI cycles per year. Their success rates have been consistent in the range of 35 - 45% clinical pregnancy rates per Embryo transfer with take home baby rates in the range of 30%. Our success rates are among the highest in the country, our group is recognized as the premier ART team of the country and we believe in stress free and user friendly treatment for the infertile couple. The clinic is known for simplified IVF treatment with very few clinic visits, the barest minimum of blood tests and friendly and supportive staff which helps the patient to cope with the physical and emotional stress of treatment. Also, all facilities such as Ultrasound, blood tests for hormones, surgery for oocyte retrieval, endoscopy, embryo culture and transfer, cryofreezing of gametes and embryos, etc are available under the same roof. One of the greatest assets of the clinic is its supportive secretarial, nursing and ancillary staff. Most staff members have been associated with the clinic since its inception as a result of which they are all very well tuned with the intricacies of these treatments. They particularly make it a point to give continual moral and emotional support to the stressed couples.

Trying to conceive but unsure where to begin?

Fertility isn’t just about timing cycles, it’s also about understanding what’s happening beneath the surface.

Hormonal balance, thyroid health, inflammation, and metabolic markers can quietly influence ovulation, implantation, and overall reproductive health. Many of these factors don’t show obvious symptoms, yet play an important role when planning pregnancy.

Getting the right tests done early can help identify correctable imbalances and avoid delays later.

📌 If you’re planning a pregnancy or facing irregular cycles, consulting a fertility specialist can help interpret these results in the context of your health.

Not every fertility concern needs IVF.
Fertility treatment is not one-size-fits-all and IVF is often one part of a much larger picture.🧬

Many couples conceive with simpler approaches once the underlying cause is understood. From lifestyle changes to gentler medical options, the right path depends on individual health, not assumptions.

Understanding why conception is delayed matters more than jumping straight to advanced treatment.

📌 If you’re unsure which option applies to you, consulting a fertility specialist can help clarify the next step with confidence.

A hall full of attentive clinicians and a session that truly held the room. 🎤

At the Endometriosis & Fertility Conference, Sambhajinagar, Dr. Jatin Shah delivered the Main Oration on “Hidden Gems in IVF Practice – Everyday Success”, translating years of clinical experience into actionable insights for practicing fertility specialists.

Rather than focusing solely on protocols or technology, the oration emphasised critical clinical markers, nuanced interpretation, and decision-making subtleties that often determine IVF outcomes but are rarely discussed in depth. The session encouraged practitioners to look beyond numbers, adopt a more holistic clinical lens, and refine everyday practice for consistent success.

The strong engagement and packed audience reflected the relevance of these insights in today’s evolving fertility landscape, where precision, judgement, and experience are as vital as innovation.

A meaningful contribution that reinforced the importance of thoughtful, patient-centric IVF practice. 🤍

You can monitor your cycles, hormones, and lifestyle but one silent factor still slips past most people: the air you breathe. 🍃

🫁Poor air quality doesn’t just affect your lungs, it can quietly influence fertility too.
Research shows polluted air may affect egg quality, s***m health, and even implantation. These changes are subtle and often missed during natural conception or treatment.

If you live in a high-pollution area, small habits — like avoiding high-AQI days or improving indoor air — can make a meaningful difference to reproductive health.

📌 Feeling unsure about how environmental factors affect your fertility?
Consult a fertility expert for guidance tailored to your situation.

Ever wondered what happens in the body after an embryo transfer? 🤍

Those quiet days are filled with tiny changes, from the embryo settling into the uterus to the first rise of HCG. This waiting phase can feel stressful, but most developments happen silently and naturally.

Everyone’s post-transfer experience is different. Some may notice mild symptoms, others may feel nothing at all and both can be normal. Understanding the general timeline can bring clarity and reduce anxiety.

📌Save this for later and share it with someone going through IVF.
For any concerns or unusual symptoms, always consult a fertility specialist.

More young women are freezing their eggs but most still don’t know the facts.➡️

The egg-freezing market in India is rising every year, yet awareness about fertility decline, AMH levels, and real timelines is still low.

Most women learn about their fertility only when trying to conceive, which can make options feel narrower. Understanding things earlier supports clearer, more confident decisions.✨

📌If you’re unsure about how fertility changes with age, speaking to a fertility specialist can offer clarity based on your individual health.
