Mumbai is known as the highest producers of garbage among developing nations cities. There are several reasons this, some of the reasons are

* Littering without thoughts
* spitting at public places
* Not separating dry and wet waste
* Throwing waste materials on roads railway tracks etc.
* Use of plastic bags that cannot be recycled etc etc

Mumbai’s Garbage Statistics

Mumbai is the highest producer of Garbage among Developing Nations, Cities. Its 15 million population produces

60% Wet Natural Organic Waste
13% Construction Debris
11% Plastic Bags, Plastic Bottles, Glass and Metals combined
9% Paper and Cardboard
5% Bio-Medical waste
3% Toxic, Non-Recyclable waste, including E-waste

The third clean up drive at juhu was full of mixed responses from the crowd...Just at the start of the clean up drive a lady came nd praised us for what we wher doin...as the drive continued we heard some ladies callin us BMC salaried employees....and in the end a man was arguing with us that what we where doinwas a waste of time...SO I WANNA ASK U MUMBAIKARS OUT THEIR IS THIS REALLY A WASTE OF TIME..??

We already have 67 members on our page..But when it comes to actively particaipating in our events...We hardly have 15 volunteers..
We cannot help changing our City from Facebook..We need to come out and actively support the cause !!!
Just Clickin on Going in the Event Page and not turning up is not gonna help !!!

The Second Clean up drive was a success...Thnx to all the volunteers who turned out for the event A special thnx to Chirag Kothari who has his SSC exams the next day but still attended the event..DATS WHAT WE CALL DEDICATION..Although we missed some of our members who couldnt make it to the event...
Today we saw great response from the crowd..Some even joined us in the clean up drive...Support from the crowd is our only strength which we achieved today..We need more and more support from everY mumbaikar out their..NOT ONLY ON FACEBOOK BUT OUTSIDE FACEBOOK ALSO !!!!! jOIN US FOR A BETTER MUMBAI !!!
