Fibroid is a tumor of the uterus. It can cause problems like heavy bleeding during me**es, abdominal pain. Women having fibroids may have difficulty in getting pregnant, also they have a higher risk of abortions. A large fibroid can compress the urinary tract causing obstruction to urine flow and kidney problems in extreme cases.
Only definitive treatment for firboids is : "surgery to remove the fibroid."

Dr. Gore’s clinic was founded by Dr Anant Gore & Dr. Madhuri Gore with a vision to provide a quality care in different areas of medicine. First clinic was opened at Sion, Mumbai in the year 2000. Two more specialties were added in 2008. Dr. Gouri Gore , Obstetrician & Gynecologist & Dr. Adwaita Gore , Medical Oncologist and bone marrow transplant physician joined Dr. Gore’s clinic. Recently Dr. Gores have launched second clinic in Chembur , a growing suburb of Mumbai with excellent connectivity within and out of Mumbai.

Dr Anant Gore is a senior Physician & Critical care specialist in Sion & Chembur. He expertises in management of Infectious diseases, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Thyroid disorders & other long standing diseases.

Dr. Madhuri Gore is a General surgeon with specialisation in venous diseases like Varicose veins & DVT.

A holistic women care approach is followed by Dr. Gouri Gore that includes Menstrual problems in all age groups, Pre pregnancy counselling and fertility treatment, Family planning and premarital advice, Cancer screening by PAP Smear & Colposcopy.
