Oral candidiasis, commonly called Thrush are very frequent in adults who wear dentures, or who are diabetic, taking frequent antibiotics or psychotic drugs and in immunocompromised individuals. It is caused by a fungus known as Candida albicans.

Sometimes, these infections turn out to be very tricky and may persist even after several rigorous rounds of anti-fungal medications. In such cases, introducing homeopathy to combat these infections can be a novel idea.

Sharing a case of oral thrush in a 60+ male with with several co- morbidities visited as his infection came cropping up every now and then making it difficult to consume food and liquids.

The duality of homeopathy medicines to work as preventive for one, and curative for another during infections have been testified yet again.

Here we share a case of a live-in house caregiver tested positive for covid. The family was worried as they've been exposed and wouldn't want any family members including their grandchildren to be infected.

Here's when a quick history of each member was taken, and individualized homeopathy remedies were prescribed.

Isolation and social distancing etiquette was followed.

The caregiver became asymptomatic soon after homeopathy medicines began and is showing good signs of improvement. Blood count, CRP and D Dimer are in normal limits.

The entire family didn't present with any symptoms throughout their isolation period and tested negative a week later.
