Mitali Salvi, a certified Canine Behaviourist had had over 13 dogs in her lifetime. But only recently did she become aware of the complexities of dog ownership, thanks to her adopted pet dog - Pantu. Pantu was found aimlessly wandering on the streets of Mumbai when she was just a little pup. Mitali quickly fell in love with the little one and started to care for her at her hostel, where Pantu grew into a beautiful active dog. But one day Mitali noticed her hairfall was more than usual, and she had developed an odd skin condition. This encouraged Mitali to research further into what may be the cause, and she narrowed it down to the fact that she may not have been feeding Pantu what was best for her health. So she joined hands with her husband Ali, a Culinary enthusiast who loves to cook, and together they researched what do dogs really need to eat to be healthy and active and promote good skin and bones, and found the answer lies in Home Cooked dog food! Soon they were cooking for Pantu everyday, and she was loving the food, and her skin and coat improved dramatically. Mitali's clients took notice of Pantu's healthy and shining coat and asked her how she achieves this, to which Mitali replied, I cook healthy tasty meals for her at home. The clients then requested Mitali to cook and parcel meals for their dogs as well whenever she came over which was thrice a week. Soon word spread about the benefits of Mitali's doggie meals, and more and more of her clients as well as strangers started to enquire about this wonderful Dog food. So Mitali and Ali decided to give it and 'La Dogce Vita' was born!.
