Paediatric septo-Rhinoplasty is still controversialand the age old thinking is that one should wait till puberty, but Paediatric sleep aponea is a concern and one has to weigh if they want to let the child suffer with pssibility of facial growth retardation ( which was never proven in humans)
This child was suffering from nasal obstruction and sleep apnea, which was affecting his schooling, parents had consented to possible revision surgery at a later age.
9 years later, he came back with normal breathing and facial development.
