It’s common for people to view the deadlift as an exercise only meant for the Big Bros at the gym - but it’s so much more!

Through progressive overload & correct technique of lifting a weight from the floor, you build a great deal of improved capacity across your legs, back, and entire body in general.

Deadlift is one exercise which improves the kinetic chain of the entire body thus teaching the entire body to function as one unit & generate force whenever a challenge is imposed on it.

This carries over to so many activities and gives you more confidence in daily life in lifting or moving things.

Shaming someone for being HEALTHY is just as bad as (if not worse) shaming for being UNHEALTHY.
Never stand in the way of someone trying to proactively protect their own HEALTH.

How many of us treat exercise as an antidote for eating unhealthy?
or
How many of us eat unhealthy food as a reward for exercise?

FACT:
-YOUR BODY NEEDS BETTER NUTRITION WITH INCREASED PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TO MEET THE ADDITIONAL CHALLENGE IMPOSED UPON IT.

-THERE IS AN INCREASED NEED FOR GOOD QUALITY PROTEIN & MICRONUTRIENTS.

-ENGAGING IN EXERCISE IS INFACT A REASON TO START EATING BETTER & NOT AN EXCUSE TO EAT UNHEALTHY!

REMEMBER:
Getting fit is a tripod of:
- meaningful exercise
- optimal nutrition
- rest & recovery

If any of the legs is missing, then the tripod will be imbalanced & fall flat sooner or later!

Thank you for the kind words!

There is a lot of misinformation spread in the media by so called ‘healthy snacking’ businesses & ‘eat everything in moderation’ kinda dietetians who would want you to believe that eating 6-8 meals a day will boost metabolism & in effect caloric expenditure and weight loss.

Beware & don’t get sold out to this as this is just the part truth.

Although eating thermogenic foods frequently does increase metabolism, however, the effect is very minimal and in most cases it may backfire by the excessive calories consumed & the insulin responses of the meals would leave you only more & more hungry!

Some of our suggestions to accelerate fat loss & improve resting metabolism for the long run are:

✔️ Consume 3 wholesome meals with focus on adequate first class proteins, good fats & minimal carbs.

✔️ Fast intermittently.

✔️ Lift weights.

A success story of 2025 which has inspired everyone including me!
Udayan, 53, resolved to reclaim his health in January 2025.
He lost a whopping 28 kg body fat throughout the year and built a lean muscular physique (with abs) with clean eating and heavy lifting!
From being 103.5 kg in Jan 25 to 75.5 currently, this has been a worthy transformation!
While earlier he was being fat shamed constantly, now he’s being “fit shamed” by haters calling him obsessed.
Meanwhile people are obsessed with all kinds of things detrimental to physical & mental health, being obsessed with your health is not a vice it’s a virtue!
His journey is an inspiration for everyone who’s resolving to get fit this year.
Kudos to this achievement!
