I was privileged to be invited to SEC to deliver a lecture to women a various age groups and reproductive and sexual health.
It was a unique experience because not everyday I interact with physically challenged women.
It is rightly said that compassion is not about the superior one having sympathy for the interior 1 compassion is between equals one understanding that pain of others and vice-versa.
I was wondering how can I ever expect all these physically challenged women to even remotely think of having compassion to me because I am so blessed. I also realised whatever compassion I can have for them will never be enough.
To survive and to be happy for them is already such a big challenge.
I am glad that I spent that one and a half hour in trying to give some information guidance on reproductive and sexual health and answer all their questions.
