An exhilarating academic weekend at RoboGyn India 2025 at Taj Santacruz, Mumbai—where India’s finest minds in robotic gynecologic surgery came together to share, debate, innovate, and inspire.

I was humbled and thrilled that my video on Uterine Sparing Robotic Trachelectomy (a fertility-sparing surgery) for early cancer of cervix won the First Prize. 🎉

As a robotic surgeon, it was an absolute privilege to learn from pioneers, engage with peers, and explore evolving techniques that are reshaping the future of women’s surgical care in India.

Conversations spanned from surgical precision to emerging protocols, all under the powerful theme: “Redefining Boundaries.”

A special moment was hearing from Ms. Sonali Bendre, whose story reminded us why patient-centric innovation matters. Honoured also by the presence of Mrs. Tina Ambani, who continues to champion excellence in women’s healthcare.

🧬 As a Robotic Gynecological Onco-surgeon, I had the opportunity to speak on the evolving landscape of organ-preserving surgeries in gynecologic oncology an approach that not only focuses on cancer control but also safeguards a woman’s quality of life, reproductive potential, and long-term well-being.
While robotic-assisted surgery remains a valuable tool in our armamentarium, the focus of the session was on making cancer treatment more precise, patient centered, and less morbid through organ-sparing techniques.
