Sharad Purnima or Kojagiri Purnima is on 16-10-2024 . It is a very auspicious day when the Moon rises with all 16 kalas and is very beneficial for health and wealth if someone does Moon Bath. It is believed that on this full moon night, Goddess Lakshmi descends to Earth to bless those who remain awake and worship her. The word *Kojagiri* comes from "Ko Jagarti," meaning "Who is awake?" The night is marked by fasting, Lakshmi Puja, and staying awake to seek blessings for prosperity and well-being. The festival also celebrates the end of the monsoon season and the arrival of the harvest season.
There is also a traditional practice of
Keeping kheer made with milk, sugar or thickened milk or just coconut water under moonlight *To absorb the somatattva* (essence of the moon) and then consuming .

Starting on 03-10-2024.
Due to our busy lives, we are not able to do regular puja of Devi Maa between two Navratris. *Hence it is recommended to start basic Devi Puja 9 days before Navratri* .
In the Puranic book Devi Sanatan Amrit (DSA) written in Hindi language available on Amazon, Chapter 14, Devi Geeta, (DSA Page no 257) Devi herself has recommended that she can be pleased by Vedic Hymn called Devi Suktam as mentioned in the 10th Mandal - 125th Sukta of Rigveda (DSA Page no 231) along with Kshama Praarthana (DSA Page no 233) . Ashadha Gupt Navratri Starting on 06-07-2024.
Due to our busy lives, we are not able to do regular puja of Devi Maa between two Navratris.
*Hence it is recommended to start basic Devi Puja 9 days before Navratri* .
In the 500 pages Puranic book Devi Sanatan Amrit (DSA) written in Hindi language available on Amazon, Chapter 14, Devi Geeta, (DSA Page no 257) *Devi herself has recommended that she can be pleased by Vedic Hymn called Devi Suktam as mentioned in the 10th Mandal - 125th Sukta of Rigveda* (DSA Page no 231) along with Kshama Praarthana (DSA Page no 233) . Based on this pre Navratri basic Devi Puja recommendation is given below .

Gayatri Maa Jayanti date: 17-6-2024
Jyeshtha Gayatri Jayanti is a day devoted to Goddess Gayatri Maa . Goddess Gayatri Maa also known as Goddess Savitri Maa is the mother of all four Vedas. Providing Moksha is her natural quality. All Holy places desire blessings of Goddess Gayatri for their purification.
It is considered to be very auspicious to do puja of goddess Gayatri Maa on this day .
*Simple Gayatri Maa Pooja Vidhi* -
1) Give Panchamrit snan (bath) to Devi Maa,
2) Offer aasan to Devi Maa
2) Light diya
3) Light Dhoop
4) Offer naivedya ( eg- dry fruits, sweets etc) to Devi Maa
5) Offer flowers to Devi Maa ( if possible white colour )
7) Read Savitri Maa Chapter from the Book *Devi Sanatan Amrit* . *The 500 pages book Devi Sanatan Amrit written in hindi is available on Amazon*
*Devi Savitri Maa Chapter covers*
a) The Chapter has Devi Savitri Maa Dhyan and Stuti as mentioned in Yajurveda through which *one gets the benefits of reciting all the 4 Vedas* along with Devi Savitri Maa Puranic Mool Mantra .
b) The Chapter has Devi Gayatri Maa Kavach as suggested by God Shree Narayan by which a person becomes free from all sins and *gets the benefit of donating 1000 cows* .
c) The Chapter has Gayatri Hriday and its Anganyas as mentioned in Atharvaveda. God Shree Narayan says that by reciting this, *a person gets the benefits of performing thousand yagyas, sixty lakh Gayatri japas,* even non-Brahmachari can become Brahmachari and the reciter gets benefits of bathing in all holy places .
d) The Chapter has Puranic Gayatri Stotra for attaining Moksha Lakshmi . It is mentioned in Purana that The one who recites this *If he does not have a child , he will get one; if he is not wealthy, he will become wealthy;* he will reap the benefits of every pilgrimage, penance, charity, yagya, and yoga; and he will live for a long time before attaining Moksha.

Ganga Saptami is a day devoted to the goddess Ganga. This day is also known as Ganga Jayanti since Ganga was reborn on this day and has flown continuously on Earth ever since. It is considered to be very auspicious to do puja of goddess Ganga and take bath in Ganga river on this day to get rid of all your sins .
It is written in the Puranic Book *Devi Sanatan Amrit available on Amazon* page 142 - 150 that all people who pray to Ganga Mata will get rid of their Sins of past 3 lives, their bad luck will change into good luck , they will get prosperity , they will get Moksha and Vishnu loka. *They will Get benefits equivalent to donating 1000 Cows and doing 100 Ashvamedha Yagnyas* .
So, individuals who are unable to do Ganga puja and Ganga Snan at holy places can get the benefits of Ganga puja and Ganga Snan at home by by adopting the following procedure:
1) Add 11 Drops of ganga Jal in bathing bucket water .
2) Recite “Ganga” 11 times touching the water in the bathing bucket with the intention to convert the touched water to Holy purifying water and then take bath in this charged water .
3) After Bath read Ganga 108 names as mentioned on page 149 of the Puranic Book “Devi Sanatan Amrit” .
