Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should be nutrient dense to boost up your day.
Upma, though it’s a south Indian breakfast but now a days it’s very popular in all parts of India. Upma can be given to a person who is Diabetic or suffering from chronic renal disease or hepatic disease or any kind of mild or moderate disease condition except in case of celiac disease or gluten intolerance ( In case of any severe illness you must consult with Nutritionist or Dietician) .
Here very easy & quick recipe has been shared to sought out your morning mash up.
Ingredients: Rava/suji 150 gm or 1 medium cup, mixed vegetables like capsicum , beans, green peas, carrot etc. as per your choice, spices like rai, jeera, chanadal, turmeric, salt , jeera, kadipatta,chilli, oil 2 tea spoon, kaju , kismis, coriander leaves (optional).
Recipe: 1) First of all roast rawa in a pan & remove it in a bowl.
2) In a pan add 2 tea spoon oil, add all spices, vegetables & sauté for 3-4 minutes.
3) Add 2 cups or as per requirement of water & add roasted rawa . Mix it well & cook it for 5 minutes.
4) For kid’s kaju, kismis & ghee can be added to enhance flavour & richness.
