She is Mrs. Savita Chauhan from Delhi. At 63 after long reluctance she joined me for weight loss program. She was 117 kg back than and with her persistent efforts, patience and dedication she is now 83kg. Her health status has improved immensely and now she is taking half the diabetes medicines which she used to take before, she is completely off her Blood pressure medicine, her cholesterol level is also much better now and she is able to walk freely without getting tired.

Its summer time again!!
As per ancient wisdom, our body is reflection of nature around us.
It means when nature changes from one season to another, body also goes through changes from within. During hot summer, heat also accumulates within body. Body reduces internal heat to prevent it from overheating and this reduces appetite too.
Diet is best tool to keep balance within body according to season.
We have to incorporate cooling foods; which nature so intelligently gifts us in warm months to counteract heat.
The right foods eaten according to the season can help promote detox and rejuvenate the body that further leads to an overall boost in the immunity, physical and mental strength and digestion.
Foods that can reduce the heat in body are super foods in summers.
Include sattu, roasted pulses ,moong dal, chana dal, pomegranate, watermelon, fenugreek leaves, other green leafy vegetables amla , coconut water which is a natural electrolyte, papaya and alkaline vegetables like radish, shake gourd, bitter gourd, bottle gourd, cucumber, pumpkin and banana stem, and buttermilk to ensure a healthy body.
Include cooling herbs like Fennel, Coriander seed and leaves, cumin, mint leaves. You can add them in your buttermilk; make CCF tea (coriander, cumin, fennel seeds), Can have green fennel seeds or can make fennel seeds water also.
Include ghee as it’s loaded with healthy fats and helps balance internal moisture.
Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables only.
Eat at right time only, our digestive strength is at its peak during lunch time so never skip or delay lunch.
Avoid sour and citrus fruits.
To regularise body temperature it is best to avoid foods like hot and spicy dishes, deep-fried foods, chilled drinks, tamarind,
Incorporate these suggestions and include these summer super food and beat the heat and stay cool in summer.
