Pretend play is when a child uses imagination to turn ordinary things into something else and steps into a make-believe world.
A spoon becomes a king.
A dupatta becomes a river.
A cushion becomes a mountain.
The child becomes the storyteller, actor, and director.
Isn’t that fun?
Learning has to be fun!!!
At when we listened to the story - Tiger on a Tree by and beautifully illustrated by @. followed by a pretend play, it was fun to see a water bottle as a tree, an eraser as the tiger and a dupatta as the net and pencils as villagers .
These are 4 year olds who discussed as a team and communicated and came up the idea and presented it !!
So proud of our buddies!!
